"Coffee or water?" Yoongi asked, you weren't even sure if it was a question since he sounds as if he's demanding Jimin to choose both. If he isn't your brother, you wouldn't know what he's thinking at all.
"Just wat—"
"Coffee it is."
You sigh, mentally facepalming yourself. Is he testing Jimin? What is he planning now?
Yoongi walks out of the living room to make some coffee as you mouthed a sorry to Jimin who seems confused.
Head over heels for Wansoo since middle school, you had completely forgotten how your brother acts when you're around men because after liking him, you stopped being around them.
You know it's Yoongi and his overprotectiveness, often saying 'men are useless,' even though he's a man himself. You don't particularly care about who you befriend or who wants to be friends with you, but you often caught your brother fighting off some boys. When you asked him why, he always told you it was because of you. At first, you were hurt, thinking it was because those boys wanted to be your friend instead of him so he blamed you, but then you realized it was because those boys liked you and they asked him about you.
It became clear when one of those boys confessed to you, only for Yoongi to arrive just in time to punch him. After that scene, you became practically scared of being friends with the opposite gender, fearing Yoongi might hurt them.
He also kept Wansoo in check most of the time even if it had been years that you're friends with him. But now, with a new man standing inside of your house—none other than Park Jimin, you just hope things go better.
Given what Yoongi has done in the past, this seems practically impossible.
"So.." Jimin finally breaks off the silence.
You look at him, still standing.
"Oh you may sit"
"I guess I'll do once your brother tells me to.." he smiles at you, as if comforting your worries even if it should be him that needed comfort for what's about to come. You just nod. He's right, he's completely right.
"So, what should I look out for..?" Jimin asked, referring about what he should be careful around Yoongi.
"Just..don't act like a jerk.." you don't know. You don't know at all. You never knew what the problem was for punching those boys, Yoongi never told you and those boys never approached you after that. But one thing you know that Yoongi doesn't like are arrogant men. He absolutely despise it so if Jimin isn't an arrogant jerk, then he's good. You hope.
Jimin nods, standing nervously with you in the living room. Even this confident, rich man seemed to be nervous around your brother. Goddamn..
Yoongi walks out of the kitchen, bringing two cups of coffee and bringing it towards Jimin.
