"I am completely..in love with you.."

Chapter Twenty-Six

~Reid's POV~

As I suspected, it was one person. The house was left untouched, besides the blood splattered on the floor. The body had been sitting in a lounge chair before it had been removed. The blood stained through the cushions, the rusty smell invading my nose.

"This person has to be very convincing...maybe a motivational speaker?" I said aloud, making the others look at me in question.

I looked over at the gun laying on the ground and looked back at the group.

"Think about it. A motivational speaker convinces people to almost anything if they are good at it. They lift people's spirits, give them hope and inspiration. They talk to them like they actually know their past and their problems. They can talk you into anything..maybe even scuicide."

Everyone seemed to ponder on the thought as the crew team bagged up the evidence.

"Good point but..there's at least a hundred speakers just here in this state. How are we to find the exact one?"

Morgan had me thinking about that one. We needed to pin point an exact suspect that fit this crime scene. Mass scuicide in just 5 days...who could it be?

"We need to discuss more when we get back to the office." J.J said as she walked out the door.

I scribbled down notes before closing my notepad and heading out the door also. I scanned over the crowd of people until I spotted Rachel. She was staring at the body bag in thought, her hand grazing the police tape.
Everyone around her were talking and yelling but, she didn't seem to notice. I looked at the body and noticed a leg sticking out. It's skin was still a warm beige, this means the kill had to be fresh. The blood on the floor and walls were still shimmering in the light.
A mere silver pistol to the head caused this persons death. Left side of his cranium, one bullet. We had found the bullet lodged in the wall. We could not identify his face, but hopefully his prints will give us some light.

"If I'm not mistaken...you can't keep your eyes off of little miss Rachel."

I heard Morgan state behind me. My cheeks flared up as I shot him a glare and didn't answer. I need to tell them soon, would now be a good time? I trusted my gut and motioned for him to follow me. I walked until we were a good measure away from everyone. He looked at me confused.

"Rachel and I...um..."

Morgan laughed, even though I told him not to, and patted me on the back. I coughed and laughed nervously with him. The more we stood there, the more my face got redder.

"I knew something was going on...I totally called it! I'm guessing you've talked to Hotch about this?"

I nodded and he smiled. I knew already he would be happy but now I needed to tell everyone else.

"I can tell she makes you happy. I was tired of seeing you mope around all the time. I haven't seen you act like this since that case we cracked with the model. Remember her? I believe that was your first kiss or something, lover boy."

I rolled my eyes and pushed him a little, causing him to chuckle. I followed him with a small smile on my own face. He could be frustrating...all the time but, he was also a good friend. We made our way back to Rachel and I motioned for her to follow me. We got in my car and left for the office. On the way there, Rachel had come up with ideas that were very interesting.
I would have to make sure to establish them in the meeting. I looked at her from time to time, honestly just looking at every small detail. From how she taps her fingers against her thigh to the music, to how her eyes lazily sweep over the blurring scenery outside.
I was drawn to her every motion, thirsting her lips, yearning for her smooth skin. Stop it, Reid. Calm yourself and keep your eyes on the road. I cleared my throat and focused more on driving before we found ourselves in a ditch soon.
My mind was pulled back to that moment before we left to go here. We seemed to be even more in love with each other, like we couldn't get enough. Her voice was like music to me, her kiss sweet and soft. I never wanted anyone else as much as I wanted her.
I took a deep breath and shifted in my seat. I tried focusing on the case but, how could I? The urge to kiss her suddenly became so strong that I pulled over to the side of the road. Cars passed by us and I saw Rachel looking over in the corner of my eye.
