Chapter Sixteen
"The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls."
~Ben's POV~
Rachel
She was going to pay for what she had done. She was going to pay for escaping, for making my kill one of our members, for being a complete pain in the ass. When I get my hands on her, she is going to wish she just stayed in that house in the woods.
I enjoyed my little visit outside the BAU building. The look on her face was pure fear...it made me want more. So much more. I felt a smirk growing on my face as I took my time walking onto the dirt road, a little shackle of a house at the end of the dead end. It was the only thing we could find last minute, we didn't have many choices being escaped lunatics and all.
I looked up at the house, well if you could even call it that. It was the size of a small shack, barely standing on its last legs. Every window was shattered, frames busted. Vines and thorns crawled all over the foundation, criss crossing and making it a difficult time to walk through it.
Gang symbols and scribbles were sprayed on the sides of the house, the ground littered with broken beer bottles or ciggerettes. I looked inside a window, the lights off as usual. I specifically told Jasmine to stay quiet and hidden whenever I was gone or away. I didn't need another member of our crew being killed or caught. It was just me and Jasmine now, what a shame we lost Bobby. It wasn't my fault...I had to do what was best for all of us.
That...traitor...backstabbed us and helped the girl escaped. I had to. I had to admit, it was a thrill being able to kill again. I wasn't able to kill many people in that bar, it left me feeling pretty u satisfied. I didn't waste anymore time moving into the house, knocking loudly three times along the dusty and grime smeared wall.
I heard a tiny sigh of relief within the darkness, and after a few seconds, a candle was lit and I could see Jasmine. Her fiery red hair almost glowed in the dim light, her piercing green eyes staring at me. She had a playful smile on her lips and she winked at me. I smiled back at her and walked closer to her. She instantly wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me hard. After a few minutes, we pulled away breathless and I listened to her laugh, the laugh I learned to love so much."I want that girl dead, babe. I want to be the one to finish her. I want to cut her open and have her watch while I do it. I want to-"
I cut her off by laughing, she was the one for me and only me. Just the thought of that Rachel girl in our grip again brought chills down my spine. Especially now knowing how important she seemed to be. I agreed, we needed to get her soon. Her father, we made a promise, and I sure as hell am going to keep it. He helped us escape, he was our key to freedom and he gave it to us.
He trusted us and we trusted him.
My smirk turned into a scowl as I stared out the broken window.
"Let's go get her now....shall we?" I asked Jasmine quietly, the urgency in my voice made her giggle as she nodded and followed me out the door.

It took awhile, but we finally made it back to the building. We had to be cautious and low key, we could risk getting caught again. The problem was...nobody was there. I sighed in frustration and kicked the wall in front of me. Jasmine was silent beside me, still thinking of an idea.
She was good at those, I could rely on on her for anything. She finally snapped her head up and smiled at me. I let her do her own thing as she looked around, not talking until she stopped turning in circles. Her eyes eyes were looking at the hospital down the street."She has to be there, baby. You told me that she was pretty injured when she escaped, right? Do you think she could be there?"
I shrugged, my mind spinning with questions and answers. It was a big risk just walking in there, we had to be very careful. I pulled up my hood and tried my best to wipe the wrinkles and mud away. Jasmine did the same, letting down her hair and putting up her hood. We both nodded and started down the road, making sure to stay in the shadows. Jasmine spoke the whole time there, her mind was thinking faster than her mouth could talk.
"From here, I can just barely see four cameras in the front entrance of the hopsital. From the looks of it, I am guessing there are also two or three more around the sides of the hopsital, left and right, but if we keep our backs to them and our heads down, we shouldn't be seen by them. If she is on another floor, I will be the one to climb and you will be the look out. In and out, we could even get the job done tonight. Sound good?"
I thought over it for a second, it was the perfect plan. I grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze before letting go and arriving at the hospital. There were cars parked in the lot, few people walking in the front doors. They didn't seem to notice us as we both crept silently into the shadows along the wall.
Sure enough, as soon as we rounded the corner, there were three more cameras staked out on on the corners. Jasmine put a finger to her lips and guided us to the back entrance, where no one stood watching. Luck must have been on our side because as soon as I asked where to look, the door opened. We both backed against the wall, watching the two people step outside."She's going to wake up soon...I did the right thing, right?"
I let my mouth drop open when I realized it was Rachel's little detective boyfriend...Reid. He ran a hand nervously through his long hair and let out a sigh. Another guy stood next to him, he was bigger. The other guy chuckled and patted Reid on the back before they both talked for awhile more.
"The Doctor said shes going to be fine. Although he suggests keeping her out of the hospital for awhile this time."
I looked at Jasmine and saw her concentrated on their words, her eye twitching slightly. She was getting antsy.
"We better head back upstairs, she will be waking up soon and she will have a lot of questions." Reid said, shaking his head.
The two men walked back inside and shut the door behind them. Jasmine groaned and took a deep breath before facing the wall. I watched her fragile moves as she gripped the grooves in the walls and picked herself up. I went over and helped her up until she got her footing and she was slowly climbing up.
I watched her slip a couple times, but managed to make it to a winow ledge. She peered in quietly, shaking her head and moving onto the next. We needed to know what floor the little bitch was on, where they were keeping her."Get anything yet!?" I whispered loudly to her, looking around to make sure we were still clear.
She didn't answer for a couple more minutes until she gasped and leaned into the window she was looking at. I smiled, I had a feeling I knew what she had found. She looked back down at me and giggled. She was shaking by now because she was so excited.
She started mumbling to herself and looked into the window one last time before climbing back down. She jumped into my arms and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back and she slipped her hand into my pocket and pulled out the small knife I had. I smiled at her and kissed her forehead before she flipped the blade open and stared at it like she was hypnotized."Let's do this....this game is finally going to be finished." She said breathlessly, letting her finger trace over the blade.
I nodded, pulling her towards the back door. We had one shot and one shot only, we had no room for mistakes.
"Game over?" I asked Jasmine with a smirk.
"Game over."
And with that, we quietly opened the door and one by one, slipped inside.
