A few weeks following the Ainana live concert, as March ushered in a lingering chill, Naoki and his family started planning their 3-day excursion to Hokkaido. They intended to do this before their relocation to the UK in May. Hokkaido in March is known for its cold weather and still cover in snow, making it the perfect setting for a hot spring experience amidst a snowy landscape.

Riku was brimming with excitement for his maiden family trip to Hokkaido. In his previous life, as a child, he was more susceptible to the cold due to his seizure asthma attacks, which often resulted in him being confined at home or in the hospital. However, on his good days, he would venture out to play with Tenn, albeit briefly.

Presently, Riku felt healthier than his past self, enabling him to enjoy the snow with Tenn. The night before their journey, Rachy had the boys tucked in early, knowing they had to rise at dawn for their flight.

In the shared bedroom of Tenn and Riku, Riku lay awake, his excitement for the Hokkaido trip keeping sleep at bay. He glanced over at Tenn, who was already in the land of dreams.

Riku sighed softly, "What should I do... I'm so excited for this trip... I can't sleep..."

"Maybe I should try counting sheep?"

"1 sheep, 2 sheep..........."

Riku began the age-old trick of counting sheep, but even after reaching "100 sheep.....", sleep eluded him. He sat up in bed, noticing the time was 11.45pm. "Oh my, it's nearly midnight... I still can't sleep...."

Riku: "No... I just can't seem to fall asleep....."

Tenn sighed a little: "Are you too excited for our trip to Hokkaido?"

Riku nodded: "Mmm.... You know Tenn-nii, this is our first trip in this world and I'm so thrilled and happy... I can't wait for the hot spring and the fun we'll have together..."

Tenn: "I understand, Riku.... Let's sleep now.... You can rest in my arms..."

Riku: "Really!?"

Tenn: "Come here...."

Tenn moved his pillow and thick quilt closer to Riku's side. Riku nestled in Tenn's embrace. As Riku closed his eyes, he felt the warmth of Tenn's hold. After a few minutes, they both drifted off to sleep...

In the mystical realm of Vita Fructuum, Albaham found himself gazing at the ethereal projections, which showed the twins settling down for the night. A fond smile played on his lips as he mused, "Those two boys, they never change..."
