"We should stop," I murmur against his lips, still not making a point about our distance between us. Jukain hums against my lips, and I never thought that he would be a person who would be here. In this position. In the position of me halfway onto his lap, my hands digging into his hair and his on my waist, tugging me only forward.

"We should," he agrees, but between his words, he presses kisses into my lips, and I'm laughing. He pulls away then, and I cannot help but let my laughter continue. He gives me a look. "What?"

"Just that," I say, grabbing his hand that he had dropped from me. I give him a grin. "Just that we could've been doing this way earlier, right?"

"I kind of regret pulling back the morning after the fourth," he says, standing up from his spot and tugging me with him. "But we should probably get out of here before there is a long line waiting for us outside and someone sees our photos."

"The photos of us kissing?" I can't help but tease. There's a color in his cheeks that I cannot see too clearly yet, but I knew it was there. "Yeah," his voice sounds deeper, and then I realize I haven't regained my breathing either. As he leads the both of us out of the booth, I breathe through my nose and try to relax. I have to admit, though, that task was hard to do considering his hands were in mine, and the act that was so casual between us made my heart race now. I loved it. I liked his hands.

When Julian goes to grab the pictures that came out of the booth, I stand beside him. He picks up the photos, and I watch as his eyes survey the array of pictures. He holds it up to me, eyes filled with happiness as he says, "I think I like this one."

I'm quick to shout out of protest. "What? I specifically looked for a new quarter just so I could have these pictures."

"Yeah, well, but look—" he stops, pointing to the pictures of me getting closer and closer to him. "These pictures have you kissing me; I get it. Have that."

"And I get to have the other ones?" I ask, and he nods. Groaning, I say, "But these ones are more cute."

"But I want them," he says to me. He looks down at the pictures again, and I watch the smile on his face. "You're kissing me," he says again, and seeing as he wants these pictures a lot more now, I let him have them.

He hands me the other ones, and I say, "In this one, you are kissing me, and I was caught off guard. I'd like to remember that."

"See?" he asks, nudging my shoulder with his own. I roll my eyes at him, giving him a side glance as I say, "Settle down, now. I did want the other pictures."

"I'd like to remember how it felt when you moved closer and closer to me," he says, and I turn to him.

"And how did it feel?" I ask, curiosily but also attempting to flirt with him. He catches on to my tactics and grabs a piece of my curl with his finger. Tugging on it, he bites his bottom lip and says, "It made my heart go fast. It was very thrilling."

"Huh," I say, attempting to make a joke, but I have fallen short. He was smiling at me, being honest, and I couldn't find it in myself to joke when this is everything I've ever wanted.

"Okay," Julian says after a silence of us continuing to walk. He glances at me and says, "Do you want me to take you home?"

"Uh," I said as I looked around at the carnival, and I knew that we had been here for a while. There wasn't a ride we didn't go on or a food consession we didn't eat from. I toy with his fingers in my hands and say, "I guess we should leave."
