As they continued walking, Alex's shivering intensified. Suddenly, she began to cough, deep, raspy coughs that seemed to shake her entire body.

Taylor looked at her in concern, quickly putting down her phone. "Are you okay?" she asked, moving closer to Alex.

Alex tried to wave her off, still coughing. "I-I'm fine. Just a little cold, that's all." she managed to choke out between coughs.

Taylor watched Alex struggling to catch her breath, her coughing fit not seeming to settle. She made a decision.

"Alex, take off your shirt." she said firmly, grabbing the bottom of Alex's shirt.

Alex protested weakly, still shivering. "But I'm cold." she croaked.

Taylor ignored her protest and began to pull the soggy shirt over Alex's head. "You're going to catch hypothermia if you stay in these wet clothes." she reasoned, trying to remove the shirt as quickly as possible.

Alex reluctantly raised her arms and allowed Taylor to remove the shirt, leaving her in just her bra. She shivered again as the cool air hit her bare skin, but was too weak to argue. Taylor quickly undid the buttons on her own shirt and took it off.

"Here, put this on." she said, holding the shirt out to Alex.

Alex hesitated for a moment, her chattering teeth and shivering body making her realize how cold she really was. She finally relented and put on the dry shirt, sighing in relief as the warmth enveloped her.

"Thanks," she mumbled, her voice hoarse from coughing.

As they continued walking, Alex still shivering but now at least in a dry shirt, she looked over at Taylor, who was still in just her bra.

"Um, are you just gonna walk like this until we get back to the villa?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Taylor shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah, I'll be fine." she said, continuing to walk. "It's just a quick walk back. Besides, it's not like anyone's around to see."

Alex shook her head in disbelief at Taylor's nonchalance. "You're crazy, you know that?" she said, with an amused smile. "Walking around in just your bra like it's no big deal."

As they continued walking, Alex's coughs continued to worsen. They became more frequent and deeper, racking her body with each one.

Taylor glanced over at her in concern. "Are you sure you're okay? Your cough sounds worse." she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Alex tried to wave off her concern, but couldn't manage to get anything out between coughs. She nodded, trying to reassure Taylor, but it was evident that she was struggling to catch her breath.

After what felt like an eternity, they finally arrived back at the villa. Alex was now practically doubled over, coughing and wheezing with each step.

Taylor quickly unlocked the door and ushered Alex inside and to the bathroom for a hot shower.

Once in the bathroom, Taylor started the shower and adjusted the water temperature to a comfortable level. "Okay, get in and warm up." she instructed Alex.

Alex nodded weakly and slowly began to remove her clothes, still coughing every few seconds.

Once naked, Alex stepped into the shower and let the hot water cascade down her body. She closed her eyes and leaned against the wall, enjoying the warmth that seemed to soothe her coughing fit a bit.

Taylor watched from the doorway, waiting for Alex to finish her shower. She could still hear the occasional cough coming from the shower, but it seemed to be gradually subsiding.
