As the weekend approached, I found myself getting ready to meet up with Riley to check out the club she was interested in investing in. Before heading out, I decided to stop by Alana's house.

As I stepped into Alana’s place, I was met with the sight of her sprawled out on the couch, a bowl of popcorn in her lap, and the sound of Grey's Anatomy playing on the TV.

Alana looked up from the TV as I entered, a smile spreading across her face. "Hey, you’re just in time for the best part!" she said, patting the space on the couch next to her.

I chuckled and made my way over, plopping down next to her on the couch and grabbing a handful of popcorn. "So what’s happening? Who’s dying this time?"

Alana smirked, clearly enjoying the drama unfolding on screen. "Oh, you know, the usual. A patient’s life hanging in the balance, a love triangle developing, and McDreamy being his usual McDreamy self."

Alana’s eyes widened as she took in my outfit. A smirk spread across her face as she looked me up and down.

"Whoa, looking hot there, Taylor. Where are you off to looking so fabulous?"

I glanced down at my outfit, feeling a little self-conscious under Alana’s gaze. "Oh, I’m just going to check out a club with Riley. She’s interested in investing in it."

Alana’s smirk turned into a frown. "Riley, huh? I don’t know, Tay…I have a weird feeling about her. Something feels off, I can’t put my finger on it."

"Alana, she’s just a friend. We’re just going to check out the club, that’s all. There’s nothing to worry about."

Alana raised an eyebrow, looking more serious now. "Does Alex know you’re going out with Riley tonight?"

"No, she doesn’t. She’s been really busy with her team and training, I didn’t want to bother her."

The car ride was quiet as the driver navigated through the city. I fidgeted in the backseat, feeling a little nervous. I caught Riley looking at me every now and then, a smirk plastered on her face.

"You seem nervous," she said, her voice smooth as silk. "Relax, Tay, it’s just a club. It’ll be fun."

I tried to give her a reassuring smile, but inside my mind was reeling. I knew I shouldn’t have been doing this, that it was wrong, but something about Riley’s confidence was infectious.

As we arrived at the club, my stomach sank slightly. This was definitely not what I anticipated. The exterior of the club was dimly lit and slightly seedy, and a large sign above the door read "Strip Club" in bold neon letters.

I shot Riley a questioning look as we got out of the car. "This is the club you wanted to invest in?"

Hesitantly, I followed her into the club. The inside was even more seedy than the outside. The music was loud and pulsing, the air was thick with smoke, and the sight of half-naked dancers on stage made me feel even more out of my comfort zone.

Riley led me over to a secluded booth near the back of the club. As we sat down, she smiled at me, a mischievous gleam in her eye.

"So, what do you think?" she asked, gesturing around the club. "Isn’t it great?"

I forced a smile, trying my best to hide my discomfort. "Uh, yeah, it’s something," I said, avoiding the eye of one of the dancers who was giving me a sultry look from the stage.

Riley chuckled, enjoying my unease. "You’re not into it, are you? You look like a fish out of water."

I tried to play it cool, but I could feel myself starting to get a little annoyed. "What, just because I’m not into this kind of scene, I’m a prude or something?"
