"Hey, guys!" Taylor shouted to her team, hands on her hips. "Let's run it again." Her dancers groaned playfully, stretching out their limbs. "You know, Tay," one dancer joked, "I'm all for 'practicing till you drop', but we're already dropping!" Everyone chuckled as Taylor shot a mock glare.

"Oh, please," she retorted, a smile on her lips. "We're going to nail this show. I can feel it." The dancers positioned themselves as the opening chords of her hit song "End Game" echoed through the hall.

As the song began, they all fell into character. Taylor moved with an effortless grace, every step synced to the beat. She navigated the stage, embodying the essence of her alter ego, The Snake, perfectly.

As Taylor was mid-chorus, the door to the soundstage creaked open. In walked her girlfriend, Alex, clad in chic sunglasses and a casual but well-put-together outfit.

Taylor missed a beat, her eyes lighting up at the sight of Alex. She couldn't help the hint of a goofy smile that tugged at her lips. But she quickly composed herself, waving a dismissive hand at Alex and mouthing 'Go away!' Alex mouthed back, 'No way', settling into a seat at the front, her smirk growing wider

As Taylor continued with the song, occasionally sending mock-annoyed glances at Alex, who sat there, thoroughly enjoying herself, the other dancers couldn't help but snicker at the scene.

The lights flickered off, and the air filled with the collective sounds of exhausted sighs and quiet chatter. The dancers gathered their stuff, discussing plans for after-rehearsal drinks.

Taylor, still flushed from the dancing, flopped down onto a chair, immediately reaching for her water bottle.

She was interrupted by a voice from behind, "You were amazing out there." Taylor turned to find Alex, leaning against a wall, a twinkle in her eyes.

"Were you the only one who thought so?" Taylor quipped, feigning nonchalance. She took a long gulp of water, trying to look unbothered, but a smirk was playing on the corners of her lips.

"Oh, come on," Alex chuckled, walking over to Taylor. "The others were too busy trying not to drop dead during rehearsal to notice your fabulousness."

"Fabulousness?" Taylor repeated. "That's a new one." She patted the chair beside her, indicating for Alex to sit down.

Alex sat down next to her, a comfortable silence settling between them for a moment. Taylor leaned back, watching the other dancers pack up, a weary smile on her face.

"I can't believe the tour starts so soon," she murmured, more to herself than to Alex.

"You're gonna be great," Alex reassured her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "And I'll be right there, watching you shine at every show."

"you can't attend every show or else the media will suspect there's something going on between us."

Alex pursed her lips, contemplating Taylor's words. "I know the risks," she finally admitted. "But I hate the idea of not being there to support you..."
