Well this story is going kinda fine I guess but it is 2016 so I'll have to up the drama then

When Alex woke up, the first thing she noticed was the feeling of a warm body pressed against her own. She opened her eyes to find Taylor asleep on top of her, their limbs tangled together and their bodies still naked from the night before. Alex couldn't help but smile at the sight of her girlfriend, and she resisted the urge to wake her up just to admire her for a few moments longer.

As Alex lay there, her eyes tracing over Taylor's sleeping form, she lifted her hand to brush a strand of hair away from her face. And as she did, she noticed that their fingers were interlaced, their hands resting against each other on the bed. Alex smiled at the sight, her heart swelling with fondness for the woman asleep on top of her. It was just a small gesture, but it spoke volumes.

She gently squeezed Taylor's hand, feeling the slight pressure of her grip. Even in sleep, Taylor's body responded to her touch, her hand squeezing back in a subconscious gesture of affection.

Alex gently lifted her hand, bringing Taylor's hand along with it as she traced a path down her arm. She watched as her girlfriend stirred slightly in her sleep, her eyes fluttering open briefly before closing again. Taylor's hand squeezed Alex's slightly, as if seeking comfort even in her half-asleep state.

Alex smiled to herself, her heart melting at the sight of her girlfriend's sleepy expression. She brought their interlaced hands to her lips, pressing a soft kiss to the back of Taylor's hand.

Taylor stirred again, mumbling something indistinctly as she shifted on top of Alex. She snuggled closer, her head dropping to rest against Alex's chest.

Alex chuckled softly, her free hand coming up to card through Taylor's hair. "Good morning, baby." she murmured, her voice low and raspy with sleep.

Taylor made a noise that could have been a grunt or a mumbled greeting, her face still buried against Alex's chest. She lifted her head slightly, her eyes still half-closed as she looked up at her girlfriend. "Mornin'." she mumbled, her voice thick with sleep.

Alex smiled down at her, her hand still stroking Taylor's hair. "Sleepyhead." she teased, her voice gentle. "You know it's time to get up, right?"

Taylor groaned and buried her face against Alex's chest again. "Don't wanna." she mumbled, her voice muffled. "Too comfy."

Alex laughed, her hand pausing in its stroking. "I know, baby, but we can't stay in bed all day." she said, her tone still gentle. "We've got things to do."

Taylor let out another groan, her grip on Alex's hand tightening slightly. "Just five more minutes." she pleaded, her voice still sleepy and indistinct. "Please."

Alex chuckled again, knowing full well that Taylor could be extremely stubborn when she wanted to be. "Five more minutes." she said, relenting. "But that's all you get. Then we're getting up."

Alex padded into the kitchen, heading straight for the cabinet where they kept their cereal. She rummaged through the boxes until she found the one she was looking for, pulled it out, and carried it over to the table.

Taylor walked into the kitchen a few moments later, her hair still messy from sleep and her eyes half-lidded. She made her way over to the fridge and pulled it open, groping around until her fingers closed around a carton of milk.

Taylor carried the carton over to the table, setting it down next to the cereal that Alex had already brought out. She stifled a yawn as she sat down across from her girlfriend, her eyes still heavy with sleep.
