Chapter 7: Unexpected Visitors

"Okay, Kage, I'm going to give you a second chance," Piccolo said, now facing him with a serious look. "I'm going to also help you find your brother."

"Really?" Kage asked excitedly.

He nodded. "Yes, but..." - He leaned his face to his with a deadly stare - "If you ever deceive me or my friends, you are going to meet my wrath by the day you cross the line with me. Understand?"

He sighed, nodding. "Okay. Alright then. It's a deal."

"Good. Let us work as a team." With that, Piccolo took off walking away.

Kage became confused while watching him. "That's it?"

"He always does that a lot," Makoto said.

"Well, I guess we're best friends now," Kage said, letting out a smile.

Piccolo sighed as he left the hotel room, getting himself a water bottle from the soda machine. Just when he was about to get there, he encountered a familiar face he didn't want someone to come near his girlfriend.

"Hey," a familiar voice greeted him.

He blinked in shock. "Motoki? What are you doing here?"

"Calm down. I'm not here for a so-called fight." Motoki said, "I knew you were going to ask me why I'm here. I was working at the hotel."

"But didn't you work at the arcade in Tokyo?" Piccolo asked, confused.

"I quit my job, so I moved to Bahía de la Luna to have a job," Motoki said.

He gave him a glaring look. "I see. What do you want?"

"I was wondering how Makoto was doing since you and her were together," Motoki said.

Piccolo folded his arms together and continued to glare at him. "Why do you want to know?"

"Because I wanted to make sure she's doing okay since the last time we broke up," Motoki said.

"Look, Motoki, if you're thinking of wanting her back, that is not happening. Anything if you come near her or hurt her again, you'll meet my wrath. Got it? I'm not in the mood for this game of yours." With that, Piccolo took the water bottle from the soda machine and stormed off.

Motoki glared at the back of his head, plotting for revenge. "Whatever you say, Piccolo."

Gohan and Ami were planning to go swimming at the outdoor pool after they decided to take a break from finding Kage's brother. Kage doesn't mind at all. When they were about to head to the hotel room, they heard a familiar voice calling out to them.

"Videl!? Sharpner!?" Gohan said in shock as he recognized the two faces.

"What are they doing here?" Ami asked.

"I don't know, but we have to find out for ourselves," Gohan said before he confronted the two unlikely couples.

"Gohan! Ami! How nice to see you again!" Videl exclaimed excitedly as she hugged Gohan, making Ami uneasy.

"It has been a while since we last saw each other on graduation day," Sharpner said with arms folded.

"What are you two doing here?" Ami asked, wondering why they were there.

"We're having a vacation day. We just arrived yesterday." Videl said, didn't want to look her in the eyes.

"Let me guess: you two were invited to Bahía de la Luna?" Gohan asked in a stern voice. He doesn't sound too happy at all because he never wanted to see their faces again.

"Fortunately," Sharpner answered.

"Oh, great..."

"Gohan, look, I know you're still mad at me about what happened seven months ago, but I want you to forgive me for this. Just forget about everything and we'll start over again." Videl said, trying her best to convince him.

Gohan glared at her. "Do you expect me to forgive you for what you did? You're too late, Videl. Ami and I already dated."

"But you can't be seriously dating her! You don't know what she is capable of, Gohan!" Videl protested.

"I wouldn't speak to Ami that way if I were you, Videl. It's time we must move on. Yet you haven't changed a bit. Why don't you and Sharpner go fool around somewhere that we don't want to see?" With that, Gohan took Ami's hand and stormed off to the outdoor pool.

Videl let a scoff as she glared at them.

"Don't worry, Videl. I'm sure he'll forgive you when you change his mind to be with you." Sharpner said as he put his hand on her left shoulder.

She gritted her teeth in anger, seeing Gohan and Ami together. "If I can't have him back, then there is only one way how to break them up."
