How did this happen? How did Makoto end up becoming pregnant? Piccolo asked himself in his thoughts, ignoring everyone around him in the streets.
He couldn't believe he was going to be the father of his unborn child. He didn't know he could reproduce Makoto to have a child. Maybe he should have worn a condom during sex if he had been advised by Chichi. Right now, he needed to figure out what to do with Makoto and the baby. He was afraid their baby would be different than their species. He must protect his child from humans who will bully or hurt them.
Suddenly, he heard the voice whispering as he felt the wind blowing. He stopped for a second and turned around. It was nothing.
Probably just that stray cat again, Piccolo thought before he continued to walk around in the street.
Then he felt the wind started to blow harder until he spotted the ghost appearing in front of him, which surprised him. He knew for sure what it wanted from Piccolo.
I can't let it follow me home to Makoto and the baby! I gotta get out of here! Then Piccolo ran away as he took off flying. He felt being chased by the ghost as he tried his best to get away. As he made it to the hill, he saw the ghost approaching him slowly.
"What do you want from me!?" Piccolo shouted at the ghost.
It didn't respond. It was staring at him.
"Makoto... is not... ready!" As he panted heavily, he ran towards the ghost, causing it to poof away. After that, he knew the ghost disappeared. He panted as he calmed himself down.
Neither was the me and the baby... Piccolo thought before he headed back to the hotel. That's it...! I decided to tell Makoto about my decision to be a father.

"Picco, what happened?" Makoto asked, worried. She had never seen him like this. It could possibly be Piccolo might have a panic attack.
"Mako, we need to talk to..." He panted heavily.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
Then Piccolo pulled Makoto into a hug, which shocked her. "Mako, I... I am so happy we're having a baby."
"Picco, I thought you--"
"I was wrong. I was doubting you could be pregnant, but I changed my mind about that. Mako, ever since now we are engaged, we're going to be a happy family we always wanted."
"Oh, Picco..." Makoto said as she hugged him tightly.
Then Piccolo noticed the ghost was watching them through the balcony from outside. He was surprised to see the ghost at how it knew where he and the others had lived. After the hug he given her, he ran towards the balcony and shouted at the ghosts.
"Go away! I thought I told you--" When Piccolo was about to finish his sentence, he saw another one popping out of the rim of the balcony. He fell his butt to the ground, seeing more ghosts.
"Just stay away from Makoto, the others, and me! You're not welcome here!" Piccolo shouted.
"Picco, who are you shouting?" Makoto asked, worried about what was wrong.
"It's nothing. Come on, let's go hang out with Gohan and Ami." Piccolo then took Makoto's hand and led her to the swimming pool where Gohan and Ami were. Then the ghosts began to follow them and they were never stop following them. Piccolo noticed they were following them.
What do they want from us? Why us? Why are they haunting us? Piccolo thought, afraid they might hurt Makoto just like last time.
