Today is the day. Christmas Eve in July has arrived before tomorrow Christmas in July arrived. It seems like everyone sometimes celebrates Christmas in July, but they serve food for the festive. As Piccolo and the others were ready for the festival, they ended up following the people who were heading their way to the mission.

"Is everyone ready for the festival?" The tourist called out to them.

Everyone exclaimed in response, except Piccolo.

"Then let's go party!" Then the tourists lead them to the mission where they celebrate the Christmas Eve in July Festival. Piccolo noticed there was no wind or the ghosts tonight. Everything was calm as he felt relief. So he continued walking forward as he didn't notice he and the people were followed by the ghosts.

Just when they arrived after a few minutes of traveling, Piccolo found himself in the festival seeing the people dancing around with the ghosts.

Piccolo and his three friends exclaim in surprise. "Whoa!"

Looking around, all they saw were the ghosts talking to the living, dancing around, and drinking orange soda.

"This is incredible!" Piccolo said in shock.

"A funny question I wanna ask. How come they celebrate Christmas Eve in July instead of the Day of the Dead?" Gohan asked curiously.

"It's different. Sometimes they celebrate Christmas in July Festival, but they only serve dinner." Makoto said.

"Interesting," Piccolo murmured. Then he noticed Kage was playing the guitar on the stage and having fun.

Oh, him again! Why is he here, though? Piccolo thought, annoyed.

Kage noticed Piccolo and the gang as he greeted them happily.

Piccolo sighed as he greeted him back, doing his best to be nice to Kage after he promised Makoto he would be friends with him.

As I recall, I'll stay nice since it's Christmas Eve in July, Piccolo thought. And so everyone was having fun celebrating Christmas Eve in July Festival while Piccolo had to watch over them. He wasn't interested in dancing or celebrating. He was only keeping an eye on Makoto since she was now pregnant.

"Piccolo, come dance with us! This is fun!" Makoto called out to him

"No way!" Piccolo said in embarrassment.

"Oh, come on, Picco! Please!? Please dance with me! It's so lonely here!" Makoto pleaded with him.

He sighed in defeat before letting out a smile. "Fine... I'll dance with you."

Then Piccolo and Makoto began to dance as Gohan and Ami did the same. They also danced with the ghosts. Piccolo never felt like he was having fun. He wished to stay like this forever, but he didn't belong to Bahía de la Luna. Neither were his friends.
