Chapter 1: Swimming Pool

Piccolo went to the jewelry store to look at engagement rings. It has been seven months now since he was in a relationship with his new girlfriend Makoto Kino. Of course, it has been seven months since the incident of Christmas Eve. He wouldn't forget that. It was a long story for him to tell about how he ended up getting a girl. However, he couldn't mate with another if he was a namekian who could reproduce by spitting out of the egg. Even if he were to mate with Makoto, that would be possible for him to reproduce her as a hybrid child.

Right now, as he entered the jewelry store, he was greeted by the jeweler who owned the store.

"How can I help you today, sir?" The Jeweler asked.

"Yes, I would like to see your collection of engagement rings," Piccolo responded.

"So you had a girlfriend?" He asked.

He blushed widely. He looked away and nodded. "Y-Yeah..."

The jeweler beamed at Piccolo, "Congratulations, sir."

"Thank you, sir. I only hope she says yes." Piccolo said shyly as he continued to blush.

"Don't worry, mister. She is going to say yes when you propose to her." The jeweler said. Then he led Piccolo towards the engagement rings and began showing him the rings, but none of them were good enough for his beloved girlfriend.

"Don't you have something a little more unique?" The jeweler thought for a moment, then went to the back room and brought out a ring he thought Piccolo would like. He showed him a golden engagement ring with a platinum rose diamond. It was 1.01 Carat GIA Certified Handmade.

"So what do you think of this ring?" The jeweler asked, grinning.

Piccolo looked at the engagement ring and then smiled at him. "She's going to love it, I'll take it."

And so he took the ring and put it in a box for Piccolo. Eventually, Piccolo took the engagement ring with him as he was planning to find a place to propose to Makoto.

Gohan and Ami went to the swimming pool as they were relaxing while sitting on the bench chair. They were wearing sunglasses and swimming suits as usual. It has been seven months since the incident of Christmas Eve. Gohan and Ami were eventually dating after they discovered Videl cheating on Gohan with Sharpner in the bedroom. At first, he was heartbroken. And then Ami managed to heal his heart by taking care of him. Of course, it was quickly when they started dating to ruin their friendship.

Right now, everyone went out swimming, except Gohan and Ami who were still relaxing in the shade. As everyone enjoyed the swimming, Usagi Tsukino appeared wearing her pink bikini swimming suit.

"Hi, guys!" Usagi greeted Gohan and Ami happily.

"Oh, hey there, Usagi," Gohan greeted her back as he saw her.

"What brings you here?" Ami asked, smiling.

"Just going out for swimming. By the way, I invited Mako, Mina, and Rei here since they didn't have a plan for summer, so I gave them my suggestions." Usagi said.

"I see," Ami said.

"Well, it's a great thing to have the girls around in the swimming pool," Gohan joked around, chuckling.

"You guys want swimming?" Usagi asked.

"No thanks. We'd rather relax here. You go ahead and have some fun, Usagi." Ami said.

Usagi groaned sadly. "I knew you were going to say that. All well. Have fun relaxing in the shade!" With that, she dived into the pool and began to swim.
