After the swimming pool, they went back to the hotel as Piccolo prepared for a rest. He pulled out the engagement box and looked at it. He was still planning to propose to her. He knew for sure when the time came, it would be the right time. He put it away and went to bed. Before he does, there are a lot of things he must talk to Makoto about. She'll be angry if he tells her that her ex-boyfriend has moved to Bahía de la Luna for a job. As Makoto entered the bedroom preparing for a bed, now this will be the right time to talk to her.

"Mako," Piccolo began.

"Yeah, Picco?" Makoto said, looking at him.

"I dont know if I should tell you, but you're not going to like this," Piccolo said, looking down.

She stared at him now with a worried look. "What is it?"

"Do you remember your ex? Well... he moved in Bahía de la Luna for a job after I saw him." Piccolo answered.

She blinked. "What? Motoki's here?"

Piccolo nodded. "Yep. And I knew you were going to react this when I tell you."

"Why is he here, though?" Makoto asked, confused.

"He's working for the hotel after he quit working for the arcade," Piccolo said.

She sighed as she looked down at the floor. "That Motoki..."

"I understand you don't want to see him, but I will make sure he doesn't come near you," Piccolo said as he sat next to her.

"I appreciate, Picco, but this isn't like that. It was something I felt bad about. What if I did something wrong after we were together?" Makoto said, worried.

"Mako, don't feel bad about it. Remember how he dumped you for treason? For a girl we don't know? Don't let him get into your head. He is an idiot." Piccolo said, wrapping his arms around her to cuddle her.

She sighed. "Honestly, Picco. It was so hard to think that. If he didn't dumped me for another girl, I wouldn't be with you."

Piccolo softened his eyes, feeling a bit uneasy. "Do you still love me, Mako?"

She let out a sweet smile before kissing him on the lips. "I love you, Piccolo. You only. No matter what our bonds are strong, and I still love you."

He smiled in relief as he continued to cuddle her. "I love you, too, Makoto."

Meanwhile...

Motoki watched from a distance as the event in front of him untold. He was outside of the hotel, anyway, so he wouldn't let them see him watching them.

So Makoto and Piccolo we're still together. This time I won't lose to her. This time Makoto will be mine and I already have a plan to kick him out of the picture. Motoki thought before he took off leaving.

When the morning came, everyone was ready for the day when they left the hotel. This time they went with Kage since they agreed to help him find his younger brother Kouta.

"Guys, before we can continue to find Kouta, do you guys want to have a tour to see what Bahía de la Luna looked like?" Kage asked, grinning.

Piccolo rolled his eyes as he folded his arms. "I don't see why not?"

"Wait! You're giving us a tour? How much do you know about Bahía de la Luna?" Makoto asked, shocked.

"I always went on a vacation with my family," Kage admitted.
