A Love So Playful

II- Simply Adoration

The students start to go outside their room to make their way to the computer lab. Skyler was packing his stuff until he saw Nero his eyes wide opened, sweating and staring at the wall.

"Uh, Nero, you good?" Skyler asked in a worried tone. Nero wasn't looking at Skyler but he said "No! I'm not good!"
Nero said with a frightful expression.

"We're gonna be late so hurry up and tell me what's wrong?" Skyler asked once again but in a sharp tone. "You go on ahead I need some space!" Nero said as he stood up and left the room without even looking into Skyler.

Nero was drowning in thoughts. He felt like he was swimming in a deep ocean. As he went outside, he didn't make his way to the computer lab but the men's bathroom. He locked the room and start to look in the mirror.

Snap out of this Nero Springfield!

Nero was so wrecked in thoughts. All he could think about was Kendrick's charms. He was so turned on by the man, but Nero refuses to give in to his emotions.

This isn't love! It's simply Adoration.

Nero repeated to himself over and over, that he wasn't inlove with the man, it was simply adoration, right?

You vowed never to love again and we will never do the same mistake again!

Believe it or not, Nero had a boyfriend when he was 19 years old. His boyfriend's name is James Ramirez.
They we're a sweet couple back then but things changed when James found Nero a horrible boyfriend. Nero was devastated by that time. He vowed to never fall inlove again. But when he saw Kendrick, he was like a metal ball that gets attracted by a magnet. He couldn't control himself.

Fuck! Nero cursed in his head as he saw the time, it was 10:15am and he was late in Tech class for 15 minutes.
Nero rushed to go into the computer lab. He reached the computer lab.

"-All of the wonders in technology are gonna be discussed in this-" said their Technology teacher until interrupted by the sound of a student in his doorway. He faced the late student with a confused but serious expression.

"Excuse me? Do you know what time it-" said the teacher but Nero interrupted the teacher yet again as he said "Yes sir I'm aware of the time, I'm really sorry for being late" Nero said with a deep and solemn voice.

Skyler saw Nero late and he was unable to do anything but to slap his palm in his face and groan inside.

Oh my god Nero what did you do now!

"Make sure it never happens again, take your seat" said the teacher as he inhaled and continued speaking.

Nero walked up to Skyler who saved him a seat but as he walks, he see's the black haired man stare at him as he walks to his chair. Nero was intimidated by his look. He feels like a fool to walk infront of him very late for class. As he took a seat, Skyler handed a piece of paper with a text written on it. Nero opened it.

Wanna talk later at recess?

Nero needed someone to talk to and when Skyler asked him to talk, he felt relieved now knowing that he will finally get his burden off his chest.

"Because someone is late-" the tech teacher said as he stared at Nero with an upset expression "-Allow me to introduce myself again. The name's Mr. Alejandro Rollon, but you can simply call me Mr. Rollon, now, Mr. Springfield, aren't you gonna greet me?" Mr. Rollon said with a smile on his face.

"Uhm, Good, uh morning Mr. Rollon" Nero said nervously as he stood up to greet his Tech Teacher.

"Good! Remain standing! I have a question for you" Mr. Rollon said as he walks towards Nero.

What the fuck did I get myself jnto!?!

"Name me one computer component and explain its function" said Mr. Rollon

"Uhmm, the CPU or the Central Processing Unit which is responsible for processing tasks given by the computer, without it, the computer doesn't have a processor" Nero said with a lot of confidence

"Well explain the difference of RAM and HDD?" asked Mr. Rollon with a serious expression almost like challenging Nero's skills.

"The Random Access Memory or RAM stores files and data only when the computer is on but is easy to access, while the Hard Disk Drive or HDD can store files and data when the computer is either on and off but it is hard to access the files and data unlike the RAM" Nero said

The other students were amazed.

"Go get him Nero!" Skyler whispered to himself. Then Kendrick who was listening to Nero's every word was watching him with narrow eyes.

"Hmm, it seems you know more than you act. I underestimated you Mr. Springfield! You're actually a clever boy" Mr. Rollon said as he lets out a laugh

"Way to go bro" Skyler said as he tapped his shoulders. "Thanks" Nero said.

"Now that we got that covered, let's proceed!" Mr. Rollon said as he turned around. Nero turned around and saw Kendrick looking at him with a blank expression. Although he might seem like he is just nonchalant, Nero felt like he was judging him. Nero nervously turned around.

The class continued until it was 10:50am.

"Class, you may return to your classroom for the next period!" said Mr. Rollon with a smile as he dismissed his students.

As Nero was walking out the room with Skyler, he heard a familiar voice call his name.

"Mr. Springfield?" Mr. Rollon said with a smile "May I talk to you for a bit?" Mr. Rollon asked with his smile fixed into his face

"Uhm Sure?" Nero said with a nervous smile.

Nero had a seat into the chair as he waits for Mr. Rollon to speak.

"I know this is too advance and it is just your first day but would you consider helping me out later afterschool? I really could use some extra help and I figured the clever individual you are won't deny my request" Mr. Rollon asked as he stared at Nero.

"Uh sure why not?" Nero said as he shrugged. "Great! Just for that you can assume you're gonna have great grades on me" said Mr. Rollon
"Aww thanks Mr. Rollon but I prefer it if you treat my grade fairly like the others, I wouldn't find my grade rational if you didn't use my real performance as basis" Nero said with a humble expression "As you wish, you can now go, don't wanna be late again to your next period" Mr. Rollon said as he lets out a chuckle. "Thanks again Mr. Rollon, see you later".

Nero's heart felt warm to hear kind words from his teacher. He made his way back to the room and saw everyone already seated. He saw the black haired man looking at him yet again. Nero ignored him as he just walked casually avoiding to make eye contact. Nero had a seat and Skyler already asked him a question.

"So... what did Mr. Rollon say?" Skyler said "He wanted me to go afterclass to help him with something" Nero said with a blank expression "Thats nice, glad to see you being a great student already" Skyler said with a smile and made Nero smiled back.

At first I thought my decision on going to a private school will be my worst decision of my life but I was wrong. I love it here.
