III- Get to Know you More

The time was 11:20 and the teacher still hasn't arrived. Nero was confused and worried what happened. If he wasn't mistaken, it was English class from 11am to 12pm. Nero was looking forward for English Class. He is a novel writer and the fact that their English is reading and writing thrills him.

"Huh, its 11:22 and the teacher still isn't here" Skyler said with a confused look. "You don't think that the tea-" Then Nero was interrupted with the sound of the door banging loudly as an energetic teacher enters. They were all shocked.

"Sorry for the fright my dears! It's what we call in the theater a Dramatic
Entrance! So, my name is Ms. De Leon, teacher of English and the drama teacher in the Literature and Arts Club!" Ms. De Leon said with so much joy and enthusiasm.

Nero was amazed. He feel like she is gonna make a great English teacher.

"Since we only have 25 minutes left and its not gonna cover a whole lesson so I will just host an introduce yourself session" Ms. De Leon said and every student were shocked.

Introduce yourself? What is this? Preschool? But sure why not?

The teacher calls them one by one. Then it was Skyler's turn.

"Mr. Benitez?"

"Here" Skyler said

"Come on up and introduce yourself" Ms. De Leon said as she calls Skyler

Skyler stood up front and started to introduce himself.

"Hi My name is Skyler Benitez and I am still 20 years old. I am a great journalist and I became the face of my middle school in the Journalist Battle. I won first place and I competed in the nationals but I only became 4th place in the Nationals" Skyler said

"Wow, impressive" Ms. De Leon said

"Thank you" Skyler said as he sit down

"Next is Mr. Springfield"

Oh god I'm next...

"Here" Nero said as he immediately stood up front to introduce himself.

"Uhm Hi everyone! I'm Nero Springfield and I'm 21 years old and Im a great novelist, I'm currently finishing up my first ever novel and I wish to publish it to the public to show them what talent I posses"

"Oh a novelist you say? That's great to hear!" Ms. De Leon said as he looked at Nero witha smile.

Ms. De Leon continued to call on more names until the last student was called on and as Ms. De Leon called his name, he felt like he went out of body for a second.

"Mr. Monteverde?" Ms. De Leon said

Nero coughed as he hears Kendrick's name been called.

Fuck! His fucking name! Even his last name turns me on!

Kendrick stands up without a word and slowly walked up front to introduce himself.

Oh god not again... Here we go with his angelic voice...

Nero grips the side of his chair tightly as he tries to maintain a smile but deep inside he was freaking out. Skyler notices it and said to himself,
Oh boy here we go again with Nero

"Buenos dias-" Kendrick said

Oh god he speaks spanish too?!? Damn does he have it all?"

"I'm Kendrick Monteverde and my father is Mr. Brent Monteverde-"
Kendrick said with no such signs of emotion. As he mentioned his father's name, everyone was shocked.

Brent Monteverde?!? He is the best fashion designer in this city? He is his father? No wonder he's attractive?

"I'm a guitarist and I love playing online games" Kendrick said as he faced his chair and walk towards it slowly with still no sign of emotion.

What's up with him? He is so calm and nonchalant as hell?!? Does he even feel joy?

"Wonderful! It's 11:54am and I dismiss you early to have your recess, see you all tomorrow!" Ms. De Leon said

The students all went outside to have their recess, But Nero remain seated. So did Kendrick. He couldn't make himself stand nor face him as he was petrified. He didn't know if the black haired man was looking at him or he was doing something too. The bell rang which is a sign of recess starting.
Nero remain seated. Kendrick was staring at the window until his gaze fell upon the brown haired man sitting infront of him frozen. He can tell that Nero was shaking in fear inside.

"Hey Springfield!" Kendrick softly calls his name. Nero was shook to his core.

Oh god...

Nero remained frozen but hummed back to Kendrick.

"It's recess?  Aren't you going to eat?" Kendrick said "Uhh I don't feel like eating" Nero said nervously

Oh my god! I can't believe he is talking to me! I better not look like a fool to him!

Kendrick lets out a small laugh. Nero was shocked. He was caught offguard when he hears Kendrick laughs.

Wait? He just laughed?!?

Curiosity was running through his body when he heard the black haired man laugh. He faced Kendrick and asked "What's so funny?" Then he sees Kendrick with a small smile on his face.

Oh god! He looks so handsome when he smiles like that...

"You really are something huh?" Kendrick said as he lets out a chuckle
Nero was confused.

What!?! What is he saying? I'm confused!?!

Then Kendrick stands up and stood next to Nero. Nero raised his head to see Kendrick's face.

"I was so amazed at you starting from science class, In Technology class, and in English class. I would love it if I could be fast friends with you" Kendrick stated as he raised his hand for a handshake

Wait he was amazed by me??? What's there to be amazed on?

Nero stood up and shaked the black haired man's hand.

"I accept your hand in friendship" Nero said as he shook his hands.

Oh god the sensation of his palm touching mine, fuck! I think I'm gonna melt.

They shook hands but it felt incredibly long, as if they don't ever want to let go. They stared at each other right in each others eyes. Then Nero was panicking.

Uh? Why is this taking so long? And why are you staring at me like that?!? Please look away

Nero was panicking as Kendrick stared deep into his soul. Then they were interrupted when they hear someone coming. They immediately let go of their hands.

"-Nero?!? Oh great you're here! Where were you? I thought were gonna have recess together?!?" Skyler said as he raised a brow confused on what's happening.

Then Kendrick's smile faded as Skyler enters. "Uhm I gotta go now" Nero said as he faced the black haired man. "Bye..." Kendrick said with a blank expression. "Bye" Nero said as he turned around to go to Skyler and walk towards him. "Lets go" Skyler said as he walks outside. Nero looks back at Kendrick and he was staring at Nero with a blank expression. Then Nero waved goodbye and left. Then Kendrick sighed.

Nero left the room but he can't stop thinking abour Kendrick. How he looked at him with a passionate stare. How he touched his hand with his soft skin. How he spoke with his calm and addictive voice. But the thing that he was turned on the most was his smile that he doesn't show a lot. He was thinking one thing and it kept bugging his mind.

Why did he took so long to let go? Does he feel the same way I do? It can't be? I don't even know if the guy is straight or not, but his handshake doesn't mean anything right?
