Nero was rushed to the hospital and he was examine by the doctors to see how its going for Nero.
Kendrick was outside very sad and praying for his boyfriend's health. Then the doctor finally came up to the black haired man.
"Doctor, how is he???" Kendrick asked in a super worried face as tears flow in his eyes.
"I'm sorry to say this, but Nero was hit in his chest damaging his ribs and loss alot of blood which gives him a 20% chance of survival because his lungs we're disrupted by the bullet" the doctor said as he gave a frown
Kendrick sighs and cries. Brent saw his son crying realizing how important the novelist is to his life.
"Unfortunately, he lost 70% of his blood and must be transferred all the lost blood to him within 20 minutes or he is gonna die" The doctor said as he looked at Kendrick
"Then get some blood already!" Sherich exclaimed as she cried in tears too.
"The patient's blood is B and our hospital doesn't offer that kind of blood type" the doctor said as he gives out a sigh.
"Give him my blood!" Kendrick stated as he walks closer to the doctor very determined.
"Son, your blood is type AB, it won't work" Brent said
"Yeah he is right, and if you do transfer 70% of your blood, the one taken off blood will be the one to suffer a 20% chance of survival" the doctor said as he looked at them with a frown.
"No!!! We're running out of time!" Kendrick shouted as he cried into the wall. Sherich and Brent were devastated to see the black haired man's sudden burst of emotions. Kendrick could not believe what he heard. It was no way its gonna end like this.
"I'll donate my blood" Brent said as he walked forward.
"What???" Kendrick shouted as he looked to his father and saw a face of determination
"Your blood type is?" the doctor asked as it raised a brow
"B" Brent said
"But father-" Kendrick said in a worried expression.
"Don't worry son! I'm gonna save him for you!" Brent said
Kendrick was shocked
"Why do you want to do this?!" Kendrick asked
"I'm sorry I haven't been the father you always wanted, I haven't been by your side, haven't treated you like a son and for killing your mother. I hope this makes up for everything" Brent said as he walks inside the emergency room.
Kendrick was in absolute shock, its true his father was an asshole and a bad person but giving his blood to his boyfriend? It was all skeptical for him but I think his father just wants to make up everything he had done.
A while later, Kendrick was with Sherich outside waiting for the results. Kendrick was shaking in fear. Then the doctor arrived.
"Sir, maam, you may please come inside, the patient wants to see you" the doctor said
Kendrick and Sherich slowly entered the room to see a Nero smiling at them.
"NERO!!!" The two shouted as they ran to hug the novelist laying in bed.
"Hi guys" Nero said as he chuckles
"Nero! Thanks for saving me" Kendrick said as he smiled.
"Ofcourse, I love you and Im ready to risk my life for you" Nero said
Kendrick smiles, but doesnt see his father anywhere.
"But where's my father?" Kendrick asked with a frown
"He is isolated in another room" the doctor said
"May we visit him?" Kendrick asked
"Sure" the doctor said
Since Nero was still weak, he still had to be pushed in a stroller. They went to Brent's room and saw him pale and asleep.
"Father..." Kendrick whispered as he came closer.
Kendrick was so sad. He cries in his father's arms. Kendrick found his father evil and selfish at first, but in the end of his story, he became a savior in Kendrick's heart. Then, Brent's heartbeat dissipates and was officially dead.
"NOOO!!!" Kendrick screamed in pure sadness as he cried into Brent who was now dead. Nero and Sherich sheds tears too as they watch a devastated son lost his father who saved his boyfriend's life.
The next few days, they returned to America and buried Brent's coffin beside Nero's mother.
"Rest in peace father" Kendrick said as he drops a flower at Brent's picture.
Nero comforts his boyfriend as he pats his shoulders and hugged him.
"He was a heroic man indeed, thanks to him, I would have been dead" Nero said as he threw a flower too.
They left the cemetary and went into Nero's apartment to relax.
"I miss him so bad" Kendrick said
"Don't worry mi amor, he is in a better place now" Nero said as he looked to his boyfriend. Kendrick smiles as he hugs his boyfriend.
"I love you Nero" Kendrick said as he hugged Nero
"I love you too Kendrick" Nero said as he hugged Kendrick
Nero smiled as he looks at his boyfriend.
"It's all over, we can love each other now without any worries" Nero said
"Yeah" Kendrick said but was shocked to see Nero kneeling down and pulls out a box.
"Nero-" Kendrick said as he was shocked.
"Kendrick, I give you this promise ring, it symbolizes our love and for our ever lastinf love! Te amo mi amor" Nero said
"Yo tambien te amo mi amor" Kendrick stated as he kissed his boyfriend.
After that night, Kendrick and Nero were now officially lovers. They lived their lives as happy as ever and mark their love story similar to Nero's novel that was premiered.
