Sarah's Pov

Its been a week after that work was, well, Stressful? adapting to new changes is difficult, but olive is doing better since she walked in on change. It was so much work that except pedro the other guys aren't around much. Its weekend already olive and I decided to stay home . Netflix and chill .  Binge watching the Avengers back to back.

Midway olive got up to being more popcorn and i waited, my phone lit up in the night stand and grabbed it. *Unknown number*
Its currently 9:30 pm, who would call me now? So late at night? I wondered picking up the call . I laid on my side and kept the phone on my ear and lazily muttered a hello?

" Heyyy!! Sorry to bug you so late at night you're not busy are you? " Asks the voice and I could just tell it was Alex's. I replied in a sleepy way
" Mmm..mmhh no..ooo... Im not slesy... I mean busy "
That earned me his precious chuckle, he then continued
" Okay then maybe look outside the window?? "
I was thrilled and shouted
"WHAT?" I hurriedly went to the window folded the blinds and saw there he was my shine in nighting Armor,  WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WIMME  , my knight in shining Armor . His voice then spoke over the phone that said
" Can you girls get ready in 5? Since we gave a really hard week to yumou guys we'd really like to give a nice weekend "
"Depends on where we are going"

" We might've booked us the vip to the biggest carnival going around the corner? "

"Hell yahh brb" i said and cut the call. Olive was standing behind me with a 'wtf did you just agree to' look and i told her everything she was also excited but not as much as I . I found that very weird since she would always beg for me to go to carnivals with her she absolutely loved it. Maybe its the sleep thats bugging her. I didn't ask and we got ready climbed down the apartment and sat inside the car. Ofc all three of them were there.
I noticed olive bought her earpods which she always brimgs when she's least interested in being somewhere. He gave a smile to pedro , alex and jeff at once and hopped on without a word.
I figured asking her now would mean no answers so i made a self note to talk to her later.

After a 20min ride we reached and the smell of fresh sweet cinnamon rolls were in the air, we all got out and headed in. There were stalls everywhere food, games, articrafts, jewellery everything alsoo there were rides mine and Olive's favourite was the giant wheel.

We 4 walked in the front and olive was staggering back so I asked Olive if she was okay and she nodded but i knew she wasn't. I remembered my mental note and noded too and went ahead. As I joined the guys Jeff asked me about olive unfortunately i didn't know too so i couldn't give an answer so pedro assured he'll take care of her and we should enjoy.

The giant wheel was in front of us and turned to look beside me towards the always stunning Alex who was looking at me and said "wanna ride?, not scared are you?"
" You bet " I smirked and teh. He bought 2 tickets for us and we waited for our turn. We got on the ride and it started moving up we did two full circles and i was literally the happiest and felt giddy as a kid when suddenly there was a kind of a scratching noise and the ride halted to stop.
I was Panic stricken and could almost shout bit i can't lose myself in front of fricking Alex!

I calmed down and looked at Alex, oh boy he looked like he could pass out any minute I called out his name he heard me the 5th time, he was so pale anyone could mistake him for a ghost. Out of generosity i held his hand which he tightly grasped and i said
" Its okayy, calm down now... It'll be alright... They'll get it working again.... Now come don't look down look at me.  Talk to me"
He relaxed a bit but said nothing, after a few seconds he said somthing under his breath i asked him what did he say .
"I can't believe our date is ruined now"
" Woahhh there big guy... Date? Who's on a date? Where?" I askes suspiciously.

" I um.. i didnt mean that i meant our first propwr outing yk after everything... Hehe" he smiled nurvously.

I said 'oh' and turned my face down to  as if on que the ride started again and we were down to the ground.
Alex sighed and came crashing into my arms.

Yes he is HUGGING ME. His sent was so sweet yet so strong and it was addicted. He hugged me Over my shoulder ofc because i didn't know about this hug it was a lingering hug i see. I thought to myself before curling my hands a little and giving him a pat because idk what else to do.
After that he let go abruptly and was practically blushing. I couldn't stop myself and i went ahead and pinched his cheek saying
"You're cute yk"
DID I INDIRECTLY JUST ADMIT THAT I LIKE HIM ?? BROOO WHAT IN THE CHICKEN NUGGETS IS GOING ON???.
He smiled at me and took me by my hand to the ice cream parlour and we got ice creams before heading back to where the rest of the group was.
All 3 of them were sitting olive was a little far away than Jeff and Pedro and she was listening to songs on her earpods. While jeff and Pedro seemed like they were discussing somthing.
I saw Jeff reach out to Olive offering his hand to her but she didn't take it, instead she got up walked to me and said sternly, " Im leaving now ,my friend lizzy is sick and her mother isn't home so i have to go to her".
She Didnt wait for me to reply and almost rushed out of the gate.

The rest of us were too stunned to speak wondering what jusy happened.
