Sarah’s pov

It was her , the bitch who birthed me, Mrs Williams, the one of the two people I wished to never see before, before I could say anything she rushed towards me and held me in her embrace however I immediately got  out of it and gave her a disgusted look.
“welcome home sweetie,  oh how my heart has been hurting all this time to see you”
“stop with your nonsense, id like to know where olive is tell us and we’ll be on our way” I said with the anger bubbling out of me.
“ oh! You’ve come to meet you friend, haha how stupid of me to  stop you all , you guys must be her friend to right?”
I was getting ready to  push pass her but alex held me back  and with much sincerity he asked “ yes we are her friend and we would like to know where she is can you tell us ?”

That old hag gave a smirk and said “  yes I do she just now went to her room with Jonathan, it  was difficult for them all these years staying apart from each other and now they want to make up for it… oh how so adorable they look”

“Bullshit” this came from Jeff and he was just as much agitated as I was.

“how rude of me to keep you all standing, come in then you can meet her”, we followed her inside because we knew that if we did anything now we would face much difficulty, this was the governor’s home after all. We went to the hall where we were asked to sit. A few minutes later, the maid came and gave us coffee which we were least interested in.
A good ten minutes later Jonathan came in the room, his face still had the evil smug which I so wanted to punch. He smiled at me and raised eyebrows towards Alex and Jeff.
“heyyy! Sarah ! whats goooddd?”
I sprinted towards him and grabbed his collar
“Jonathan Adams I will ask one time and one time  only, where is olive and what did you do to her?”
“that’s not a very nnice way to greet your bestfriend’s husband to be… and olive? She’s in her room, I put her to sleep after you know---”

“WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU THINK YOU’RE PLAYING AT STOP, IT WILL ONLY MAKE ME WANT TO KILL YOU MORE, DO TELL WHERE SHE IS”

Jeff’s pov,
I was trying to be as still as possible but I lost it as I heard what Jonathan said I went to were sarah was holding Jonathan.
“Excuse me whoever you are can you show us to olive’s room? If you can not we will gladly do it ourselves but that will then go all over the news which won’t be good for the governor. So kindly do what you’re told”
Sarah left jonathan’s collar and he was walking in the direction of stairs, onto the first floor was basically a bedroom with a smaller room with a door we figured that’s must be were Olive must be. We rushed towards the door knocked on it and from inside a very familiar voice came
“go away Jonathan what more do you want from me?”
Olive
We continued knocking saying stuff but clearly our voices were not heard by her. She insisted on not opening but we also are not going to back up. Finally she opened the  door. Sarah was in front of her as soon as she saw her he hugged her, then she looked around and saw me and Alex she acknowledged us with a smile and called us in closed the door behind us, before Jonathan could enter.
Her eyes were puffed, red, she had been crying and it only has been one day but she looked like she haven’t eaten anything from the last week. I went ahead grabbed her face gently and said “talk to me, tell me what happened.”
She held one of my hands and leaned into it and closed her eyes, I immediately pulled her into a hug she hugged me back and broke down.

Olive’s pov

They were really here I couldn’t be more happy. They really were here Sarah, Alex and yes Jeff. I couldn’t hold myself any longer. He hugged me and I started crying , he was patting my head giving kisses on my head and saying
“ there there baby , I’m here now, everything will be alright”
This made me cry even more but I tried to stop, they shouldn’t be here, they,ll ruin Sarah I can’t let that happen she worked so hard for everything she has now.
“ya’ll shouldn’t be here… you need to go” I said still crying in between.

Jeff looked at me with what seemed like a shock to me.
“no we won’t, not before you tell us what happened and why are you telling us to leave” sarah came forward and asked me. Instead I went ahead and hugged her and whispered in her ear,
“right now you need to leave keep one of your phone’s with me they have taken mine, this room has camera’s and mic I can not tell you here. I’ll message you after midnight. When no one checks the security footages. Please leave now”

Sarah seemed to understand and said “ why did you not say you were getting married I would have come along with you to buy the wedding dress and all!”

The guys were confused but played along, I’m so thankful for such considerate people In my life. We talked for a bit and before leaving I hugged everyone once again and when jeff hugged me he whispered in my ear
“I love you Olive and I’m not giving up on you” he then gave a kiss on my forehead and left with the others.
