chapter 9

Olive's Pov

Since I woke up, I've been trying to remember the past events that bought me here, and it replayed everything except for the fact that how I came here, and how i don't have my clothes on except this is someone's tshirt. Im probably shouting at me for drinking so much yesterday .
Suddenly the door creaks a little and Jeff walks in, he's shirtless and is wearing grey track pants as well. Makes him look like an actor straight outta tv. He's holding a tray on which it has a cup of coffee and a couple of cookies (are they complementary or does he know i am in love with cookies?).

"You're up..., headaches or whatsoever??"

" Nope, im fine but..." I trailed off.

He chuckled a little and asked,
"Wondering how you got here and changed into my clothes?"
I looked at him with a little embarrassment.

"Oh thats just you were very clingy and drunk so was I and we got of the bar and in the car and you couldn't stop kissing me neither could I and we reached our home AAAaaannDDdddD....."

"JEFFF STOPP!! WHATT???" I. could feel blood rushing to my face and it turning red.
Jeff reached upto me holding my face and say,
"Sorry(haha) nothing like that happened, you slept and  i didn't want to wake you up or disturb Sarah so i just took you here, also my sister stays next to me i knew she'd be awake so i called her she helped you change but she couldn't stay as her fiancé came over. So yeah thats about it but i would have preferred the earlier option"
"STOP WILL YOUUU!!?"
he starts laughing, and i do to. It all feels so wholesome like this is the new normal. And id love to wake up next to jeff every other day with a good morning kiss.. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME ?!! WHAT AM I THINK8NG??SNAP OUT OF IT OLIVE.
Jeff offers me the coffee keeps me company till i finish it and then askes me to freshen up and come outside.

After freshening up I walked down the hallway to the living room and to my surprise I found sarah and alex and pedro already sitting there. It definitely was awkward and I tired not to sound it and greeted them all with a single “hi”.
I took my seat at the edge of the nearest sofa and soon Jeff came in, with one his what he likes to call his ‘holiday wear’.
Everyone was speaking about something u couldn’t figure out what so I just remained calm.
“let us head to the beach today and well grab something from Mcdonald’s for breakfast the rest well figure out later.” said Pedro glancing at his phone time to time.
“Relax Pedro we should tell them they wouldn’t mind” Alex half giggled and half spoke. Which made me and Sarah both laugh and curious. Pedro looked at as and spoke “I may or may not have a boyfriend?”

“AND?” I said almost jumping out my seat because I was so goddamn happy for him.
“He’s coming over so you’ll get to meet him soon” Pedro said quickly and was blushing visibly. How sweet. What if Jeff and I were a thing? I looked at him and caught him already looking at me. We both were looking at each other until his dropped to my mouth and then back to my eyes and he winked at me before saying out loud
“ well  since we are waiting let me grab some juice from the fridge, Alex get your ass here and help me”
“Heyyyy not my ass”
And they went in the kitchen.

After 10 minutes or so the door bell rang, Pedro hopped to the door like a teenager in love and opened the door. And seeing the person outside made both mine and Sarah's jaw drop to the floor.
The person was Jax (Jackson) he was the son of our former boss.
We (me and sarah) couldn't stop staring and we both realised that when the couple shared a kiss.

I've met Jax in the office parties i accompanied sarah, she didn't fail to mention that although Jax's father was a pain in the ass, jax was a sweetheart, he'd always bring somthing whenever he visited. I've also talked with him and sure he was lovable no wonder he's got our Pedro wooshed.

"Hey Sarah, Hey Olive, great to see you!!" He said giving a little finger wave.

"Bu--"
"Likewise Jax! Long time no see!How have you been?" I said cutting sarah off knowing this was definitely not the right time to ask about what shes about to.

Jax started laughing a little and said " Ladies chill you can talk about that "pain in your ass" person... You see he was my step dad and now that I'm 21 im fully independent and no longer need him to take care of me, also yeah it was me who offered this trio the offer of buying the company" signalling towards Pedro, Alex and Jeff who returned and had their hands full of glasses and juice bottles.
" You may wonder why I decided to practically sell the fortune i could have inherited, you see i never wanted it anyways also I'm starting my own brand soon! You're welcome to my very first face of company "
Sometimes I and sarah were so synchronised people would always call us brain-twins. Like now we both mouthed an 'oh' and nodded our head up and down finnally laughing at the same time in the same tone. The guys looked at us as if we were alien.
"Why are you guys staring at us?! Ya'll should stare at pedro here.... He's the one dating that old hag's handsome kid"
Sarah had a big mouth, nothing or no one could stop that. Thankfully everyone laughed it off. 
Soon after the chit chats we were off to the beach and apparently the TRIO had a beach house, ofc they do.

We all headed there in three cars, The couple in one, and I noticed Alex being clingy at sarah, she gave me a please save me look which i dismissed almost instantly and they took a car. Which left me Jeff again.
"Its me and you again, don't sleep this time yeah? "

This made me a little embarrassed which i quickly overcame by rushing towards the car. And by rushing I literally ran while saying
" whoever reaches the car first drives "
Jeff did catch up but I wasn't called beasty for fun. I being the gentleman I am held the door open for my passenger princess to which he smiled and pecked my cheek and he got in. I did too and we headed towards our destination.
