Sarah’s pov We are decorating the newly bought Christmas tree; the whole squad will be celebrating Christmas eve at our home. Everyone anonymously had already kept their gifts we were just to arrange them. I was done with my side of the Christmas tree so I went to rest my back for a moment. I closed my eyes and heard the faint ring of olive’s phone but then I passed out. I woke up 10 minutes later, and looked for olive. But she was nowhere to be found in the house. I called her twice before she picked up, “I uhh can’t really talk right now I’m dogsitting this big ass dog of my friend and it is going nuts. See ya’” That’s all she said to me, I wondered what friend of her has a big-ass dog? Not thinking much about it, I completed the rest of the decoration and wen to have a bath. When I was done washing up and ate lunch alone, while checking my phone I got a text msg from olive “don’t wait for me, eat up” I sent her a thumbs up. Finally, I couldn’t wait any longer and dozed off again. It was around 5 or 6 pm when olive returned exhausted. “What kind of dogs walk for more than 3hrs?” She mumbled something which I couldn’t understand and lastly shouted, “IM HUNGRYYYYYY” and went straight to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of cold water. Drank and splashed over her head. And gave me puppy eyes. “The food’s in the refrigerator heat it up and eat, I’m going to sleep.” I took a sip of the cold water myself and went to the room It was what 12 something and I couldn’t sleep so I was rewatching Holidate, and all I could think about was Alex, and then I dozed of like every other time.
Next morning I was woken up by my weird bestie with a coffee in her hand. “Gurrllll its 8:00, you’re still sleeping? You don’t want the guest to eat burnt chicken I suppose.” Yeah, Olive cannot cook, she bakes. And bakes so good no one could tell that she doesn’t cook. I freshened up and headed for the kitchen directly. I prepare a bunch of specialties and left the kitchen for olive. Finally, after playing a soft song on the speakers, I sat down. And looked at olive she was so elegantly working as if she were a baker by profession.
The doorbell rang, and the squad came in together we all hugged exchanged hello’s and sat down. I saw Alex come towards the couch but now he’s nowhere near, I looked around and found him in the kitchen talking to olive. He looked kinda nervous to me. Why would he be nervous talking to olive? Did he break her bike’s rear-view mirror or what? I felt a nudge on my shoulder turned to see Jeff,
“Did olive tell you where she went yesterday?” he asked while looking towards the kitchen.
“Yeah, she said she went to dog sit a big dog of her friend’s that was going nuts” I replied as if remembering every word she said.
“Well, the dog better be Alex, because he was the one she left with”
“HUH?” why didn’t she tell me about it then it’s not like I wouldn’t let her go.
“Yeah, I’m Saw them Leave together yesterday I don’t know where also I asked Alex he said to work as if we don’t work at the same place or something.” Now we both were looking at the play unfolding in the kitchen, olive while putting the cookies in the microwave was laughing at the nervous Alex who seemed to Blush? Idk I didn’t look no more and started having conversation with Pedro and Jax.
During lunch I and Jeff both were pissed because what can be so secretive that we wouldn’t know and why the fuck did olive lie to me about it., Finally when the secrecy agents were done talking, they came to the table. Olive brought all the food to the dining table while Alex adjusted himself beside me. After all was settled down, I saw olive sneaking glances at Alex, and when he noticed he glared at her way with a I’ll kill you look, to which olive laughed. Jeff seemed to notice it to and tensed up and I have no idea how at that exact moment olive looked at Jeff and his expression changed.
Afternoon was all about sleeping and lazing around, when it was evening, we had ordered a pizza when the delivery came both Alex and Olive went to take it. Weird. My instincts said to follow them which I did. Keeping a safe distance, I heard olive saying “it’ll be okay, ill complete it if you don’t but you’ll have to give it a go first”
Understanding nothing I went back to the room, sat silently…. Anyhow I cannot believe I’m seeing Pedro like this for the first time I mean it’s like he’s stuck to Jax for the rest of his life they are being so cute I could cry. The pizza was here we’ll practically gulped it down had drinks and stuff. And it was finally time for gift opening we all gathered in the living room near the tree. First up Jax opened all the gifts and was shouting with glee when he was gifted a VIP pass to a ‘Dolce and Gabbana’ runway and backstage visit by Pedro. Likewise, everyone practically got what they wanted. It was olive’s turn.
She opened a box like something and when she opened it, it contained squeaky toys, a red squid game guard man and a yellow ball. Jeff gave it her. Every one of us were as confused as We looked. She looked at Jeff raising an eyebrow, when he gave a smirk and called someone and said “it’s time”.
Olive’s pov
I was so utterly surprised to have received dog toys, because I don’t own a dog but I’ve wanted to for 100000 of yearsss. So confused I looked at Jeff wondering why he did what he did. Then he called someone and said its time., making me more confused when a minute or two later Jenniee came in with something wrapped in a baby towel, it looked like a baby. I was evennn more confused to know that when did jennie have a baby? I aint seen her pregnant….. last week we went to the carnival again and we rode the rollercoaster together.
I could here a little whining from the towel when Jennie came close to me and saw the most adorable baby doggie. She handed me over and said “you are now its mother” I was so happy and shocked I shouted “hollyyyyy fuck! Are you kidding me????” and I started crying. Happy tears.
“oh my goddd Jeff!! This is real isn’t it? This is happening!” I turned towards the little pup and said “aren’t you an angelllll , whose a god boyyy” I placed kisses on its head and hence discovered I have a baby voice. Here I’ll show you guys what baby oliver looks like (ofc I have named him after me)

“ If Olive is the mama I can’t wait to be daddy!!” said Jeff in the silliest way possible to which he earned a smack from his sister “owww what?” he cried.
“ oliver doesn’t need a Dada if he has a mother like olive, its optional and its upto olive… isn’t it?” she looked at me I nodded laughing still teary eyed. This is a dream come true I have always wanted a pup and I can not put into words how happy I am. Rocking and cooing to oliver I moved aside, as it was now time for the big reveal. It was Sarah’s turn to open the gifts she one by one opened everything and thanked everyone for gifting them to her. Lastly when she saw that Alex haven’t gifted her anything she looked at him and asked “heyy where’s my present at?” He smiled and was seemingly nervous for no reason. He looked at me expectantly I gave him a thumbs up and walked towards Sarah.
