Crimson was the popular and wealthy guy in high school, adored by everyone for his charm and charisma. Then there was Dorian, a quiet queer kid who faced constant bullying. Despite the odds, Dorian, like many others, secretly harbored a crush on Crimson. Crimson and Dorian were friends, but they rarely spoke to each other. One day, Crimson noticed Dorian's quiet demeanor and wondered why he wasn't like everyone else, constantly praising or chatting with him. Intrigued, Crimson found Dorian's mysterious and cute nature captivating. He found Dorian sitting at his desk, sketching something. Running a hand through his black hair, Crimson decided to greet him. "Heyaaa," he said, sitting next to Dorian. "Whatcha drawing?" Crimson asked politely, unable to get enough of his cuteness. "Oh... um... I don't know," Dorian shrugged, revealing random sketches of a little bit of everything — cats, fictional characters, hearts. "You don't know? What kinda answer is that..?" Crimson chuckled at his response - though he found it cute in a way - as he looked at his sketches, seeing the multiple random drawings of cats, characters, and even hearts. Crimson couldn't help but smirk a bit.. he just found him adorable for some reason. "I just draw whatever comes to my mind," Dorian said, gazing at Crimson for a moment before looking back at his sketchbook. "Huh, must be a pretty random mind, then." Crimson chuckled and leaned closer to Dorian, trying to get a better look at his art. "Cute little hearts and stuff.. what you tryna say, hm?" He smirked, clearly trying to tease him. He blushed. "Haha... yeah..." After those words, Dorian blushed even harder, nervous because he didn't know what to say next. Crimson chuckled at the way his face flushed with color from his words and teasing.. seeing him get all flustered was cute to Crimson, for some reason. "Is that all you have to say for yourself? Hmm?" He leaned a bit closer and glanced at Dorian. "You're blushing pretty hard just from my simple comment.." he smirked. "I'm sorry... I didn't think someone like you would actually approach me," Dorian shot back with honesty, his voice tinged with nervousness. "Aww, don't apologize.." Crimson lightly patted his head as he leaned closer, now hovering over him a bit. "You look pretty cute flustered like that, blushing and apologizin'.. but whatcha mean 'someone like me', huh?"
"Well... you're a popular school guy who pulls every single girl and stuff, and I'm... I'm just a queer kid." Dorian shrugged and looked away, feeling a mix of embarrassment and vulnerability. He never expected he'd have to explain all that to his own crush. Crimson chuckled at his words, the poor boy sounded.. quite self-conscious. "And? You think the fact that I pull girls changes how I treat anyone different? C'mon.. you're still a guy. A cute one. In fact.." He grabbed Dorian's chin, turning him to look at him again. "You're probably the most adorable guy in school- to me at least." He smirked when he saw his face go even redder from Crimson's compliment. Seeing him almost squeak made Crimson let out a small laugh. "You're a mess aren't you.. not used to compliments I'm guessing." He teased, letting his chin go. Suddenly, the school bell rang, cutting their moment short. Both of them felt a pang of disappointment as the brief connection was interrupted. Crimson sighed. "Well damn.. here comes another boring school day.." He got up and went to his desk and sat up in his chair as the bell rang, looking at the clock across the room. It was time for class to start. He grunted in annoyance as the teacher strolled into class, ready to give them whatever boring lecture they had prepared. Crimson leaned back in his seat, already feeling drowsy and a bit bored. He glanced at Dorian, wondering what the teacher would say if they saw his sketches.. A minute later, he noticed someone threw a paper ball at Dorian, and the way Dorian sighed almost made Crimson mad. Then the person had the audacity to chuckle at the act. Crimson let out a scoff as he looked over at the guy who threw it.. what a dick.
He was still looking at the guy who threw the paper ball, but his attention quickly shifted to the teacher, who was now calling his name. He looked at them.. great, now he needs to pay attention. "Um, yes?" He grumbled silently to himself as the teacher asked their question, of course it just HAD to be a difficult math question.. He thought for a moment, trying to calculate the answer in his head before I spoke. "I believe the.. answer's.. 47?" But the answer was wrong. Crimson rolled his eyes when the teacher said he was wrong.. dammit.. and now he had to sit and listen as they asked another student for the stupid answer. He let out a silent breath as he glanced at Dorian again, but that damn guy who threw the paper ball earlier was also staring at Dorian... Crimson's eye slightly twitched in annoyance. After 30 long minutes, the school bell finally rang, signaling the end of the class. It was a relief for everyone, especially for Crimson and Dorian, who had been eagerly waiting to continue their interrupted conversation. Crimson couldn't be any more relieved than in that moment, the school bell rang out, marking the end of the first class. He quickly stood up from his seat and took his backpack, slinging it over his shoulder. But before he could walk out, he noticed that.. same guy from before, walking over to Dorian. He immediately got a bad feeling about this as he saw the guy standing in front of Dorian, and the look on Dorian's face didn't make it any better. Crimson stood there for a moment, listening, but not doing anything just yet.. Suddenly, the bully pushed Dorian into a closet, causing him to hit his head painfully. Dorian winced, the impact leaving him dazed and hurt. "Ow.."
