Cosimo stepped through the front door, his deep voice carrying softly through the quiet corridors. "I'm home…" he called, exhaustion lacing every word. It had been a long day filled with the usual stress and chaos of mafia business, but as tired as he was, all he could think about was Akash.
No matter how hard and cold he was with the rest of the world, Akash had him wrapped around his finger. When it came to him, Cosimo's tough exterior melted away, leaving only tenderness and an overwhelming need to be close.
Dragging his feet slightly, Cosimo leaned against the wall for a moment, the weight of the day falling off his shoulders at the thought of seeing Akash again. He could already feel the tension in his body easing, knowing that his soft spot, his one weakness, was just beyond the next room.
Akash appeared at the entrance of the living room, his eyes sparkling with warmth as he took in Cosimo's weary form. "Ciao, amore," he greeted softly, his voice barely above a whisper. He pushed off from the doorway and padded towards Cosimo, his feet bare against the cool marble floor.
A small smile tugged at the corners of Cosimo's lips at the sound of Akash's sweet greeting, his red eyes lighting up with affection as he watched his lover approach. Pushing himself off the wall, Cosimo opened his arms wide, ready to envelop Akash in a warm embrace, his thoughts swirling with love and relief.
Akash melted into Cosimo's arms, his body molding against the harder planes of the mafioso's chest and abs. He wrapped his own arms tightly around Cosimo's neck, his fingers toying with the short hairs at the nape of his neck. "I missed you,”
"Mi hai mancato anche io, amore," Cosimo murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to Akash's forehead as his arms tightened around him, feeling comforted by the familiar warmth and softness he found solace in after a hard day's work.
"Perché sei sempre così occupato?" Akash complained softly, his voice muffled against Cosimo's chest. He hated seeing his lover so tired and stressed all the time, wishing he could take away all his worries and troubles.
Chuckling lightly, Cosimo ran his fingers through Akash's silky hair, his eyes closing briefly as he savored the comfort of being home, "La mia vita è complicata, ma tu sei sempre qui per me, e questo rende tutto più facile da gestire," he replied, expressing his gratitude for Akash's constant presence and support.
"It shouldn't be like this," Akash said, his voice still muffled against Cosimo's chest. “You're the boss, you shouldn't work so hard.” He pulled back slightly, looking up at Cosimo with concern in his eyes, his hands still wrapped around Cosimo's neck.
Meeting Akash's gaze, Cosimo smiled reassuringly, brushing his thumb over Akash's cheek, "I know, love, but it's the price to pay to protect what's mine," he replied, his eyes filled with determination as he leaned down to claim Akash's lips in a loving kiss.
Akash's eyes fluttered closed as he surrendered to Cosimo's kiss, feeling safe and loved in his arms. When they broke apart, he rested his forehead against Cosimo's, his heart aching with worry for his lover's well-being. "You need to take better care of yourself,”
"I promise I will, amore," Cosimo whispered, nuzzling his nose against Akash's as his hand moved to cup the side of his face, his thumb tracing gentle circles along the curve of his jawline, "Now, let's forget about everything else tonight and focus on each other.”
Akash's breath hitched as Cosimo's red eyes bore into his own, the raw love and desire reflected within them setting his heart aflutter. "Mmm, I like the sound of that," he whispered, his voice dropping an octave as his body pressed closer against Cosimo's.
