Brianna and Adam had always been close friends, and one day, Brianna insisted that Adam accompany her to a birthday party. She didn’t want to go alone, and despite Adam's initial hesitation—he didn't even know the birthday guy—he eventually caved in. After all, Brianna's puppy-dog eyes were impossible to resist.

On Friday evening, Adam dressed to impress, slipping into a sleek, formal outfit. He wore a crisp white dress shirt, slightly unbuttoned at the collar, paired with fitted black trousers. The satin-like sheen of the shirt added a polished touch, while a gold watch and chain necklace lent an air of elegance and sophistication. His black belt, complete with visible designer branding, completed the look.

As soon as he arrived, Brianna greeted him with an excited smile. "Finally! Heyyy!" she beamed, clearly thrilled to have him by her side.

"Hey, Bri," Adam waved back with a soft smile. Brianna looked stunning in a striking black dress that hugged her figure perfectly. The dress had bold side cutouts, held together by intricate lace-up detailing, adding an edge to the sleek design. High slits on both sides showed off her legs, while black open-toe heels with ankle straps completed the daring look. Her makeup was bold and flawless, her nails freshly done, and her long, straight brown hair flowed elegantly.

"Let's go!" Brianna urged, grabbing Adam's hand excitedly. "This is a bad idea," he murmured under his breath.

"Uh, no way!" Brianna scoffed, leading him into the main room where people were dancing. She eagerly introduced him to a handsome man.

"Hey, Vissarion! Happy birthday again, and this is my best friend I told you about, Adam! Adam, meet Vissarion, my new buddy," Brianna said, her tone playful but careful.

Adam was taken aback by Vissarion's striking appearance. Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Vissarion exuded a casual yet edgy vibe. His black button-up shirt, slightly unbuttoned at the collar, was tucked into black pants, paired with rugged combat boots. Visible tattoos snaked across his neck and arms, while layered necklaces added a rebellious touch. His blonde undercut contrasted sharply with his piercing ocean-blue eyes, making Adam’s heart race as a blush crept onto his face—his secret crush on men bubbling to the surface.

"Well, hello there. Nice to meet ya!" Vissarion greeted with a sly smirk.

"Y-yeah, um, happy birthday, and uh, I brought this for you..." Adam stammered, nervously handing over a bottle of vodka, remembering Brianna had mentioned Vissarion’s love for alcohol.

"Why, thanks, amour," Vissarion purred in French, casually planting a kiss on Adam's cheek before walking away with a wink. Adam's heart pounded so hard he thought it might leap from his chest.

As Vissarion disappeared into the crowd, Brianna giggled, "Aww, I totally ship you two already."

Adam's face flushed even redder. "Oh, shut up," he muttered, but the smile on his face was hard to hide.

As time passed, Adam found himself upstairs near the bedrooms, fiddling with his phone. He had left Brianna downstairs, caught up in a flirtatious conversation with some guys, while he sought a moment of solitude. Scrolling mindlessly, he felt a sudden hand on his shoulder.

"Whatcha doing here all alone?" a familiar voice asked.

Adam's heart skipped a beat as he turned to find Vissarion standing there, his intense blue eyes locking onto his.

"Oh, I... I just needed a break from the crowd," Adam replied, his words trailing off as he became lost in Vissarion's gaze, the atmosphere between them thick with tension.
