It was Saymeen's first day settling in with her new roommates. The apartment was quiet, as neither of them were home, giving her the perfect opportunity to unpack and make herself comfortable. After organizing her things and taking a moment to relax in her room, she suddenly heard the front door swing open.
"Man, that performance was fire!" Trevor's loud voice echoed through the apartment, full of excitement.
"Yeah, definitely one for the books," Vincent agreed, his tone more measured. There was a brief pause before Saymeen heard footsteps approaching her room.
"Hey, new roomie! Come out and say hi!" Trevor's raspy voice called out as he knocked on her door, the sound startling her.
Saymeen quickly sat up on her bed, taking a deep breath to calm herself before calling out, "Coming!" She opened the door to find both Trevor and Vincent grinning at her.
"Wow, look at you! You're even hotter than your pictures," Trevor drawled, flashing a roguish grin while Vincent lightly elbowed him with a disapproving frown. "Ignore him, he's always like that," Vincent said, giving Trevor a warning look before turning to Saymeen with a warm smile, "Welcome home, Saymeen."
Saymeen smiled back at them, her cheeks flushing slightly at Trevor's bold words. "Thanks, you two. And thanks for letting me move in. I really appreciate it." She looked between them curiously, "What's this about a performance you're both so excited about?"
"Oh, we just had a killer band practice earlier. We're starting up a new project," Trevor replied, adjusting his black frame sunglasses, while Vincent added, "He's exaggerating, as usual. We're just trying to get our music out there."
"Wanna hear some of our tracks? They're pretty badass," Trevor suggested, while Vincent nodded eagerly, hoping Saymeen would enjoy their work.
Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and enthusiasm, "I'd love to! I can't wait to hear what you guys have been working on." Saymeen eagerly followed them to the living room, where their guitars and amps were scattered about.
Vincent picked up his guitar with a confident air, while Trevor winked at Saymeen before starting to strum and sing, both men excitedly sharing their music. As Trevor strummed the guitar, he glanced at Saymeen occasionally, his dark red eyes sparkling with excitement, while Vincent watched Saymeen's reactions carefully, eager to see if their new roommate enjoyed their music.
As the two performed, Saymeen was captivated by their raw talent and charisma. Trevor's raspy, soulful voice blended perfectly with Vincent's deeper, smoother tone. The music was a mix of blues, rock, and soul, each track telling a story that resonated with her.
Vincent's fingers danced nimbly across the guitar strings, lost in the music, while Trevor sang with a seductive passion that made Saymeen's heart race; they both shared knowing smiles, feeling proud of their creation and thrilled by her genuine appreciation. "See, told you she'd dig it," Trevor smirked triumphantly, nudging Vincent who just chuckled in agreement, feeling gratified by Saymeen's positive response.
Clapping her hands in excitement, Saymeen exclaimed, "That was amazing, you guys! Your voices blend so well together, and the lyrics are so emotional. I'm definitely feeling the feels here." She laughed, fanning herself to cool down from the intensity of their performance.
"Grazie mille, bella!" Trevor replied, flashing his signature charming smile, while Vincent's cheeks turned a faint red with pleasure. "We're glad you like it! Music is kind of our thing here," Trevor said, while Vincent nodded in agreement, his eyes gleaming behind his glasses.
"Music is definitely your thing," Saymeen agreed, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "I can already tell that living with you guys is going to be an incredible experience. And I have to ask, do you guys write your own songs?" She leaned forward, genuinely curious about their creative process.
