Time skip till two days later 

I wake up to a notification from my phone. I wipe my eyes, so my vision isn't blurry and look at my phone to see who messaged me. There was a unfamiliar number but above it was the name Alex. MY eyes widened in shock. I unlock my phone with my thumb print and go to his message that wrote. 

Alex;  Hiii, this is Alex turner. This is Callie right? I hope it is, anyway at the new year party you told me how you do art so i would like to hire you to design all my concert tickets, album covers and everything like that. If you would like? 

Me; Hey, yes this is she. I would love to design that for you. Let me know more about it. And we can have a meeting with your band and so I can discuss what I'm doing with designs. 

Alex; That sounds amazing darlin, on the other topic besides work. The new year's party was very fun. And you sure did look good on that dance floor

As I read that message, I felt myself blush and then started to think of something flirty to text but as I did my boyfriend Jace calls me. I then feel bad for almost flirting but I answer the call with a smile. 

Heyyy, babe 

I say with a smile that quickly fades as i hear him sigh

what's wrong?

I asked knowing something is wrong 

So, I have to stay for another week... Or a year 

WHAT?! 

I asked as I got sad 

But why? I miss you and you said that you were coming home early

He then replies

I know babe, but I have to stay here and work... I'm sorry

For some reason I felt like he was lying. Maybe just me overthinking, or maybe the notification I just got from his work saying that he is going back home sense I have his email. I then start to cry silently as I think maybe he's cheating on me. He has a picture on Instagram of him hanging out with a girl, but he said it was a work thing but maybe it wasn't. I try not to sound sad and reply

okay...

I then hear him about to say something, but I hang up on him. I laid in my bed crying. I didn't understand why I was crying because I think I like Alex and not so much Jace, but it still hurts and I'm still in love with him. After a couple hours I fall asleep in my bed snuggling up to my pillow with my phone on silent.

Time skip till A week later and I have a meeting with the Arctic Monkeys to talk about their new album cover. I get ready and put on something a little more formal than a dress and put on some baggy jeans and a black band t-shirt. We decided to meet at a cafe down the street from my apartment. I pull up to the cafe and get out my car Alex walks out the cafe and spots me. before I could react, he ran to me and hugged me. I didn't know what to do so I hugged him back and asked, "What's wrong?" I then heard him sniffle like he was crying. I pull away and cup his face with my hands and looked into his eyes with a smile and wipe the tears from his face. Before asking in a soft tone "Do you want to talk about it? Why are you crying?" I look at him and wait for him to answer me. But then he kisses me on the forehead. "Thanks for the hug. Alexa said she's having doubts about me and our relationship. She said she doesn't like that I'm famous and our lives are on the internet and that she feels she doesn't love me anymore. " I then feel bad for him and say "I'm sorry, but if you really love her then you should try to work it out. And don't quit being a singer you love it, and it makes you, you" I say softly even though I don't know who Alexa is. "And personally, if she doesn't love you, she's stupid. Now let's go in there and talk about your album cover, okay?" I asked with a smile.

Alex smiles and nods we then head inside the cafe. We walk in and see matt and Jamie at a corner booth smiling. We walk over and smile as we sit down. Jamie can see that Alex was crying and asks "Were you crying, mate" I looked over and see Alex get embarrassed, so I covered for him. "What no. So basically, he went outside to walk me inside and when we were outside there was a fan of his and she was mad that he was busy and didn't take a picture, so she threw her drink at him, and it got in his eyes that's why his eyes are a little blood shot and there's some water droplets on both our shirts." I say with a laugh as I lied to cover him up. I then feel Alex's gaze on me, him smiling at me. I then look over to him and smile "Right, al?" I asked softly. "Ya, that's right... And I like that Nickname, Callie" We then smile at each other silently and then miles come back from the bathroom as he says and stops the awkward gaze. We both turn to Nick, and I say "Okay let's get to work. Do you have any ideas?"
