Stonepaw flicked his tail towards the hole. "Nice and comfy with plenty of shelter!" he meowed proudly. Tiger didn't say anything. "Your welcome." Still no comment. Stonepaw gave up trying to please the she-cat and set off into the tunnel. "Wait," a command sounded from behind him. "What," Stonepaw sighed, turning to look at Tiger. "Are you sure you don't smell anything, wild cat?" she asked. "Yep, let's hop on in," Stonepaw turned back around. Of course he smelled something but he didn't see anything when he looked inside, so it was pretty safe to him. Stonepaw continued trudging deeper into the tunnel. "Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure I smell something...," Tiger questioned. "Yeah, I'm sure! Who's the wild cat and who's older?" Stonepaw's patience snapped. "Whatever," she muttered, finally following him into the tunnel. "So.. since I'm older I am technically in charge," Stonepaw meowed, giddied up by Tiger's defeat. "Yes, O' great one," she muttered. Yes, finally someone respects me! Stonepaw thought with glee. "Goodnight," Tiger murmured as she shuffled her golden brown striped body onto a place she thought suitable for sleeping. Stonepaw awkwardly sat next to her and curled up, back to back. Then, a rancid scent filled his nostrils and he saw a black and white shape looming over the cats. Tiger obviously smelled it too, for she darted up and hissed at the shape. "I knew I smelled badger," she growled, shooting a glare at Stonepaw. "Get up, kit! Help me fight," she rammed her shoulder into him. Stonepaw got up to his paws, tasting the fear scent that rolled off of him in waves. Tiger leaped at the badger. It was a large muscular tom-badger and Stonepaw wasn't looking forward to fighting him. "Help me," Tiger groaned as she slashed off claw fulls of the badger's fur. Stonepaw stepped forwards so he was at Tiger's side. The badger swiped a paw at him and he ducked. "I thought you said this was safe!" Tiger yowled as she threw herself onto the badger's back. "Well, this gets us ready for more dangers, I guess," Stonepaw meowed hopefully, biting the badger's paw as it swung at him once more. "So you new this was going to happen?!" "Not really." "Then why do you sound so excited about it?!" "I'm not excited!" "You are too!" "Am not." "Are too." "Am not." "Are too." Suddenly, the badger lumbered off with scratches all over himself. Tiger was sent flying to the ground. "So...since I'm not a mouse brain I'm technically in charge," Tiger mimicked in a high pitched voice as she heaved herself off the ground. Stonepaw felt hot anger sear beneath his pelt, but he pushed it away and simply nodded. "Also," Tiger added, "the next time I give an assignment for you to do, don't try to kill us, okay." Stonepaw felt outraged, but he knew that she was right. "Sorry, Tiger," he croaked. Tiger froze and looked back at him with those exotic aqua eyes. A crooked smile spread across her face. "Now that's more like how you treat your leader," Tiger meowed earnestly.
