"Wow, I'll send some warriors over to that spot to take a look at the paw prints," Bramblestar decided. "Thanks for telling me about that," assuming that he was being excused, Stonerise dipped his head and headed towards the entrance to the den.  "See you tonight, Stonerise," Bramblestar meowed as Stonerise exited the den, glancing back in confusion. Stonerise went into his nest and rested after a hard day of work.  Stonerise woke  in a mist shrouded forest.  "Hello, Stonerise," he whipped around to see Bramblestar staring down at him.  "F-father?" Stonerise stammered derpily.  "Yes, I am leader of the Dark Forest.  And I want you to train here to take after my pawsteps," Bramblestar announced.  Stonepaw gaped in disbelief.  "B-bramblestar, please I don't want to train here," Stonerise admitted.  "Nonsense," Bramblestar growled, "You have to become stronger." "I'm already strong enough to serve my Clan and I don't want to train in this place to gain more power. Bramblestar narrowed his eyes. "Fine. I'll get you one day, though," he hissed. Stonerise started disappearing from the Dark Forest.  He woke up with a start.  Stonerise's eyes grew as remembered the events of last night.  Careful not to disturb anyone, Stonerise tip-toed out of the Warriors den.  'I'll go hunting alone.  I need to think,' he decided.  Stonerise slipped out the entrance.  "Stonerise, where are you going?" Ivypool asked from place at guarding the camp along with Poppyfrost.  "Hunting," Stonerise responded vaguely, flicking his tail awkwardly.  Poppyfrost nodded and sat back down.  Stonerise wove in between the trees of the forest until he reached the edge of the lake where the cat disappeared.  The only cat he knew who could just dive underwater was left behind at the mountains...  Stonerise shook his head.  It couldn't be her.  She was enjoying her life with Pine back in the everlasting stone hills.  He grunted and continued into the forest.  But a thought continued to nag him.  Those dainty paw prints looked just too familiar...
