The Malhotra's were sitting idly in the Ranawat's living room, staring at the priest who held the birth horoscopes of Vihaan and Aarchi.

"Next weekend is a good date for engagement and the nearest marriage date is after 6 months" The priest said looking at the older generation.

"6 months?" Vihaan shrieked out loud making everyone look at him. Aarchi too looked at the priest in disappointment.

"6 month kaha hai, 6 years nahi" Aarush said pulling Vihaan down. The elders snickered at Vihaan's desperation.

"It is the earliest date I could get" The priest said apologetically.

"No problem. 6 months after it is" Rishav said smiling widely realising that he still has some more time with his daughter.

"Your father really hates me" Vihaan whispered in Aarchi's ear who glared at him.

"Stop irritating my dad then. He won't hate you" She whispered to him.

"Ohhooo love birds. What is tota maina ki jodi discussing?" Ridhima said teasing both the children.

"Chonch lada rahe hai" Maitri said serving snacks to Ridhima. Aarchi hid her face behind Vihaan blushing deeply.

"Yeh kuch kiye bina sharma rahi hai ya kuch karke sharma rahi hai?" Aarush asked looking at Aarchi and Vihaan frowning.

"Don't answer that" Aryaman said loudly pulling his sister to the side and pushing Vihaan to another creating space between them. He sat in between making space for even Maitri.

"Are all your sons kabab mein haddi?" Veer asked Kaira glaring at Aryaman for sitting between the couple.

"They are shields of Aarchi" Rishav replied looking at Aryaman happily who nodded at him.

"There's no other date for marriage?" Kaira asked ignoring the rest.

"After next week, it is dev podhi. Generally no one does any good functions like vastu, marriage, engagement in that time" The priest explained making Vihaan drop his head sadly.

"Engagement next week karsakte hai na?" Ridhima asked. The priest nodded his head.

"Great! Kaha karni hai engagement?" Veer asked the couple.

"Nothing splendid, just us guys. Marriage we will do in a grand way" Vihaan said looking at Aarchi to know her opinion.

"Destination wedding by the beach" Aarchi said looking at Vihaan smiling.

"Okay, so next week we can prepare for their engagement and do it here?" Rishav asked standing up and walking towards Aarchi who stood up and walked to him.

"Anywhere is fine" Vihaan said agreeing to everything.

"Iss bakre ko pata hi nahi ke yeh halal hone wala hai" Aviraj said hitting Vihaan's back as he hugged him. Aryaman hi-fied Aviraj laughing. Maitri crossed her arms and looked at him sternly.

"I don't know about me, but you for sure are going to get halaled today" Vihaan said turning Aryaman's head towards Maitri who was tapping her foot on the floor waiting for Aryaman. He cleared his throat and walked to her.

"Jokes baby jokes. I'm not a bakra, I'm the luckiest man on Earth who got the opportunity to spend the rest of his life with you" Aryaman said sweetly. Maitri kept glaring at him.

"It is all because of those two. They were trying to add me into their gang. They think I'll say something against you, they don't know how lucky I am to have you as my wife" He kept buttering Maitri until she patted his cheek and walked away.
