Vihaan and Aarchi had taken rest after their long journey when Ridhima asked Aarchi if she would want to complete the remained rituals of newly weds. Aarchi agreed to it excitedly and set up an alarm for early morning and asked Ridhima for help in menu. After making the menu, Aarchi and Vihaan went to sleep without doing any extracuricular activites on Aarchi's requests.
NEXT MORNING
"Good morning" Aarchi sat up with half-closed eyes and greeted herself. She moved her hand towards her left side, looking for Vihaan. Feeling the bed cold she opened her eyes to find Vihaan already staring at her from the sofa.
"OH MY GOD!" Aarchi screamed in shock, placing a hand over her heart.
"You scared me" She complained shaking her head. Vihaan chuckled and kept staring at her.
"Okay enough Vihaan. Now its getting creepy" She said climbing out of the bed. Vihaan stood up and held her from behind.
"Staring at someone while they are sleeping is borderline stalkerish" Aarchi said placing her hands on top of his hands and tightening them.
"If a husband does it then it doesn't apply" He kissed her shoulder moving towards her neck.
"Want to shower together?" Aarchi asked breathing heavily.
"Neki aur puch puch" Vihaan carried her bridal style and walked towards their bathroom. Aarchi and Vihaan stepped out of the shower, when Aarchi's eyes fell onto the clock shocking her at how late she was. She quickly removed a saree from the closet and wore the undergarments throwing the drape onto him asking him to help her. Vihaan sat holding the saree smiling seeing her stressed.
"Aap jaldi se saree kholdo toh mein niche jao"
"HUH?" Vihaan woke up with a bolt from the bed and looked at her shocked.
"Saree. Jaldi se kholdo, mumma ne kaha tha saree pehne pehli rasoi ke liye, ek toh khana banana bhi nahi aata mujhe upar se yeh saree, jaldi karo na. Mummy ko help bhi karni hai" Aarchi looked at him with tears on her eyelids.
"Saree toh mein raat mein khol dunga, abhi toh pehnani hoti hai" He corrected her words with a laugh and stood up to help her. Vihaan helped her wear saree within 5 minutes, and helped her blow dry her hair as she wore the bangles and applied sindoor in her partition. Aarchi was ready within half an hour, standing in a red orange shaded saree and a fishtail braid done by Vihaan.
"How do you know how to braid hair?" Aarchi asked frowning, looking at him from the mirror.
"Had a girlfriend remember?" He said tying the end of her braid with a hair tie.
"Was she prettier than me?" Aarchi asked with sad eyes.
"She was who she was and you are who you are. Don't make me compare the two of you. I love you, with my whole heart and soul. I do not see her in you Aarchi because I see you for who you are. She'll hold a place in my heart but you hold my heart. Don't compare yourself to her because I don't think she'd want you to do that. You are and will always remain forever beautiful in my eyes" Vihaan said hugging her tightly.
"Thank you" She said feeling at rest, knowing that she held priority in her husband's eyes. Aarchi smiled and pulled away from him and ran away to help Ridhima in the kitchen as Vihaan went to take another shower, this time cold as seeing Aarchi dressed always made him want to undress her and do everything all over.

"Kya banaya hai?" Veer asked excitedly, rubbing his hands smiling.
"Today you'll have a feast afterall the eldest and first daughter-in law of the house has cooked" Arush said sitting at the dining table where on the other hand Aarchi glared at Arush asking him to shut up and go-die as she shook with fear from within.
