PRESENT DAY - Ninjago High

Y/n POV:

Do you know what it's like to have to move back into your hometown half way through the school year? I do now. It's technically my first day at Ninjago High today but I'm currently running three hours late. No, not running, walking, I'm walking late to school.

I'm late on purpose, I didn't want to go at all, but apparently seventeen year olds' don't get a say in the decisions impacting on their life.

And there was a sweet shop on the way.

My parents and I moved back to Ninjago City last week. Not my decision. I could go without the noise of the bustling streets of Ninjago, the bright light that burnt holes into my eyes. And don't get me started on the famous "saviours" of Ninjago. Makes me sick. The Secret Ninja Force is what they call themselves. A group of pathetic individuals who think they're better than everyone else because they defeated Lord Garmadon.

That also annoyed me. Lord Garmadon defeated by a group of pathetic, colour coded ninjas. My mind wanders to a particular blonde boy. I wonder how he feels about this. Is he disappointed? Angry? Upset?

My thoughts of the young, annoying blonde are interrupted by the ringing of a bell. Oh yeah, school. I turn right into the school grounds and up the steps into the building. I push open one of the two heavy, deep blue doors.

Where the hell have I been sent to? My eyes adjust to the bright atmosphere of the school hallway. This place looks like a neon rainbow violently exploded everywhere, something out of my nightmares. Not because of the colour just the amount of pure happiness behind it. This whole place screamed positivity. Bright banners covered every wall and door promoting the football team. How much glitter does one poster need?

I take my time walking towards the office, as the halls start to get crowded with loud teenagers leaving their lessons. Huh, I assume it's lunch time as everyone runs out of control. I'm later than I thought I was, hopefully that will earn me a suspension.

My eyes scan over the faces of each door I pass, searching for a sign that said 'office'. All these doors looked the same. '301', '502', '270' and so on. Hold up. How the fuck does that work. What numbering system is this. I've officially decided I hate this school. How is anyone supposed to find their way around without getting lost.

In my confusion, I accidentally bump shoulders with someone. The force wasn't enough to cause any harm or injury, it just took both me and the stranger by surprise.

"Oh I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" His soft, light voice spoke out laced with sincerity. It made me sick.

"Yeah no shit" I turn to the boy and met a pair of wild and bright green eyes. Familiar ones. His blonde hair framed his face in a way that tied his whole 'sweet boy' look all together. Just looking at him told me he was sickenly sweet.

But, those eyes.

His face fell at my words and he opened his mouth to reply but I was already heading in the other direction. I already hated him, that mysterious blonde boy, he made my stomach feel nauseous just by looking at him.
