Y/N's POV

The shriek of the school bell pierces my ears as I'm shaken wake up from my daydream. Or maybe I was actually dreaming. My brain was still too fuzzy to think straight.

Looking around me I notice the other students packing away their belongings and practically dashing out of the classroom. I hadn't even realised the class had started, nor could I remember what class I was even in. Reading over my notes gave me the impression it was my English class however, my notes only consisted of two lines and the date.

Great. I internally groan at myself for not paying attention. I'm going to have to ask to borrow someone's notes now, and talking to random students is one of my least favourite activities. I wonder if any of Lloyds friends were in my class and willing to help me out. But the looks they send me gives me the impression they won't help.

I stretch my arms out and let out a small yawn to try and shake my body back into action however, a shooting pain in my arm makes me tuck my hands back into myself. I blame the Ninja. What was only supposed to be a short easy mission turned into a long tiring workout, and now there's no part of my body that doesn't ache. Not to mention my bandaged left forearm from the Green Ninjas energy attack thing. Like seriously what even is his element? Green?

I'm smart enough to know that anyone who saw my bandages would be highly concerned and may even get the wrong idea, which is why I'm wearing suitable clothes to cover them without causing suspicion. It's colder outside today so I don't look out of the ordinary. Even if someone was to notice the bandages I could easily play it off as an accident, being the accident prone person I am.

Snapping back to reality I start slowly packing away my school supplies into my bag while trying not to use my left arm too much. I raise my hand to cover my mouth as another yawn was ripped out of me, when the feeling of a hand on my head shakes me out of my slight daze. The foreign hand gently pulls my head back to look up into these vibrant green eyes.

Lloyd.

I hold back a laugh at seeing him from this upside-down angle, as he tilts his head to the side giving me his gentle smile.

"Are you ready to go?" His smile blooms into a wide face splitting smile that made my stomach twist slightly.

I hold back a gasp as the realisation of his words finally sunk in. I'm so drained from yesterday that I almost forgot about the plans we had made for after school today. This being my last lesson must mean that we're heading out now.

Wait a second he's not in this class. How did he even know what class I was in?

I haven't told my parents about these plans yet, I should probably send them a text telling them I won't be home yet. If father found out I had plans with Lloyd Garmadon let alone found out I was talking with him now, he would fucking kill me.

Turning back to my bag, his hand left my head. The warm feeling now turning cold at the lack of his touch.

"Sure. Where are we heading?" I throw my bag over my shoulders and turn to face him properly with a small smile.

He stuffs his hands into the pockets of his green jacket, which I've never seen him without. Honestly does this boy not own any other clothes? Although I had to admit the colour green did suit him well.

"Well I was thinking that we could head to a local café and get you that drink, then we can head back to mine and finish working on our History project." His eyes avoid mine and he rocked back slightly on his heels.
