Chapter 20

After finishing dinner they all watched a movie together. It was Mrs. Lee's suggestion.

Heeseung and Sunoo didn’t talk to each other after that kiss.

They thought they would talk tomorrow and confess their feelings to each other.

Sunoo slept while watching the movie.

“Sun, are you sleeping?” Mr. Lee asked. Sunoo was beside him and he was sleeping leaning on Mr. Lee's shoulder.

“Oh he is sleeping. Don’t wake him up” Mrs. Lee said and Mr. Lee nodded.

“I will take him to his room" Heeseung volunteered

“Okay" Mr. Lee smiled

Heeseung carried Sunoo in bridal style.

Heeseung was feeling like he was carrying his bride like it was their wedding.

He always carries Sunoo on his back. It was the first time carrying him like this and it was after their passionate kiss also. How can he not Imagine those. Sunoo was looking so cute, pretty, beautiful, innocent, adorable, ethereal to Heeseung.

Every step to the stairs felt like they were going to the priest and anytime the priest would say, “May God the eternal Father keep you of one heart in love for one another, that the peace of Christ may dwell in you and abide always in your home. You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings. What God has joined, men must not divide. Amen."

And then asked him, “Do you take Kim Sunoo as your lawful husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?”

Yes Husband not wife but Husband. It took so much time to realize Heeseung that.

When he first understood his real feelings for Sunoo. He was all confused.

Sunoo is a boy and his little brother. how can he feel that way for Sunoo? No one will accept this. The society, their parents, the world even Sunoo. What will Sunoo think of him when he will know how his hyung feels about him.

Heeseung tried this best to kill his feelings for Sunoo. He dated a lot of girls in the thought of Killing his feelings for Sunoo. But nothing works. He hurt himself a lot in this process. He hurt his feelings and Sunoo's too without knowing. 

It wasn’t easy for him to accept him and his feelings for Sunoo. But at least he did. He overcame all obstacles and learned to accept himself.

Thanks to Sunghoon he was able to understand it sooner than he thought.

Thinking of those moments Heeseung reached to Sunoo’s room. He placed Sunoo on his bed carefully.

“I love you” Heeseung slowly said.

“I want to protect you from everything.” Heeseung sat on the ground beside Sunoo's bed.

He placed his hand on the bed and rest his chin on his arm looking at Sunoo.

“Do you know how angry and miserable I felt when I learned about your past. I was angry at those people who hurt you and felt miserable cause I wasn’t there to help you to protect you.”

When Sunoo was only 5 he lost his father. But the pain didn’t stop there.

Sunoo's father got into an accident. And it was the reason for his death.

When he got into an accident there was no one to support Sunoo and Sunoo's mom. Sunoo's mom has to do everything by herself.

One day before Sunoo's father's death Mrs. Kim has to leave Sunoo at the hospital because there was no one to look after Sunoo. Mrs. Kim knew a nurse at the hospital so he left Sunoo at her concern. She went to collect money for her husband's surgery.

The nurse leaves Sunoo at his father's cabin to sleep because there wasn’t much scope for sleep and Sunoo was a little boy who needed sleep. She thought it would be safe because she has to do her duty and she can’t always look after Sunoo.

Sunoo obeyed her and slept at his father's cabin.

At midnight Sunoo heard a noise and woke up. He heard his father calling his name. Sunoo was sleeping on the tiny couch of the cabin.

His father called him and told to sleep beside him. Maybe he wanted to live his last moment with his son.

Sunoo happily went to his father and slept hugging him like he usually does without knowing it was the last.

In the morning Sunoo woke up hearing a loud noise. His mom was screaming and crying holding his dad. He couldn’t understand what happened. The nurse took Sunoo in her arms. She was also crying. Then Sunoo understood what happened. He also started to cry.

After that Sunoo's grandparents came and started to blame Sunoo for this. They said Sunoo was unlucky that's why their son die after Sunoo's birth nothing good happened to their son.

It impact a lot on Sunoo. He started to sleep separate from his mom. Even though he is afraid of drak. He cried for days, months and also blamed himself for his father's death. 

Sunoo's mom called her one and only relative her mom to look after Sunoo. She was sick that time but came to look after Sunoo.

She made Sunoo believe there nothing wrong with Sunoo and Sunoo is the luckiest child in the world and made him a little normal.

Sunoo also believed her words but oneday in the morning Sunoo find his grandmother peaceful sleeping beside him. She didn’t response to his words. She didn’t smile at him. He lost his grandmother and his father in just two month.

The words he believe now all looked like a lie.

Rumors spread that Sunoo is unlucky and whoever sleeps beside him dies.

That's why he was afraid of sleeping beside anyone what if they do not respond like his father and grandmother. What if he found his loved one death beside him. It terrified him to death.

Because of that Mrs. Kim left the city and came Seoul.

But Sunoo never was able to overcame his fear.

“But now  I am with you so I will protect you from everything.” Heeseung smiled

“I love you Sunoo I love you so much not as a brother but as my life partner. I am willingly to face anything-” Heeseung felf a strong grip around his waist.

A strong force dragged his out of the room and dragged him to his room and he felt slap on his right cheek. He was on the ground. The slap was too hard that the corner of the lips of Heeseung was now bleeding and his cheek was red not from blushing but from the hard slap he got.
