Chapter 21

It has been a week since that incident happened and after that Heeseung was fully avoiding Sunoo not particularly Sunoo but everyone and everything.

He would never talk to Sunoo and even if Sunoo tried to strike a conversation with Heeseung he would rather ignore Sunoo's presence or reply with Yes or No in a cold voice. It hurts Sunoo a lot.

Sunoo started to think that Heeseung may not like what he did. Heeseung may be upset or angry over it. The fear Sunoo had now became reality.

Heeseung gave his cold shoulder to Sunoo. This was the reason Sunoo never admitted his feelings for Heeseung. He didn't want his Heeseung hyung to get upset or angry with him.

Sunoo can tolerate everything but not Heeseung cold behavior. Above that Heeseung had lost his cheerful and playful personality. Watching Heeseung like that hurts a lot and Sunoo was blaming himself for this. How could he ever think Heeseung would like him the same way? It was impossible.

What surprised Sunoo the most was that their parents didn't have any concern over it. They were acting usually but in an unusual way.

It was clear that something happened to Heeseung and the reason maybe Sunoo and he knew but his parents? Why weren't they bothered about it?

Sunoo had so many questions but no answer. He tried to get the answer by talking to Heeseung but all in vain.

Sunoo felt like someone squeezed his heart hard and his heart would stop beating at any time. Crying everyday for his mistake. If pathetic has a perfect definition then it must be Sunoo himself.

Sunoo was so immersed with those thoughts that he didn’t hear his teacher calling him. Hanbin then nudged Sunoo and Sunoo snapped out of his thoughts.

“What happened to you? Which daydream are you having in my class? This is not the first time huh?” Mr. Choi yelled.

Sunoo lowered his head not wanting to shed tears. His eyes became all glossy like crystal, tears were waiting for him to blink so that they could come out from his eyes.

Mr. Choi noticed so he took a deep breath. He shouldn't have yelled at Sunoo. Sunoo has a bright personality. This is not like Sunoo.

“Sunoo sit. Please give attention to lecture exams near at hand” Mr. Choi said in a  calm voice. Sunoo just nodded and sat down. He didn’t lift his head.

Ni-ki and Jungwon looked at each other.

Lunch time

“Sunoo-” Jungwon was looking at Sunoo's empty seat.

“He left” Ni-ki informed Jungwon

“Again” Jungwon sighed

“If he is going through something he can talk to me I will listen but why is he ignoring me?” Jungwon asked Ni-ki. Sadness was visible on his face and tone

“I don’t know. I told Jake hyung about it and he said Heeseung hyung is also acting like Sunoo. I think something happens between them” Ni-ki explain his thought to Jungwon

“Did they fight?”

“I think it’s more than a fight” Ni-ki and Jungwon looked at each other still confused about what was happening.

Mrs. Lee heard a loud noise from Heeseung's room. So she ran to Heeseung room and found

“Heeseung, don’t you wanna come for lunch?” Jake asked Heeseung who looked lifeless

“No, you go ahead. I won't come” Heeseung replied without any expression

Jake took a deep sigh,“If you are worried about seeing Sunoo there then you can come because he is not coming to the cafeteria for the last few days.” 

“What?” Heeseung looked at Jake. Now his expressions are readable. It was a mixture of shock and worry expression.

“Yes”

“Why didn’t you tell me before.” Heeseung asked in disbelief

“You never asked or said what happened between you two?" Jake replied

“What? Are you serious? He is not having lunch for some days and you knew it but didn’t tell me? He will get sick at this point?” Heeseung was angry with Jake for not telling him before and worried about Sunoo

“So would you mind me to tell what's wrong?” Jake asked

Heeseung looked at their other friends and they left them alone

“Hmm...okay tell me” Jake takes a seat beside Heeseung

“My dad” Heeseung started to tell Jake what happened that day

Flashback 

Mrs. Lee heard a noise from upstairs. So She went to check. She went to Sunoo's room and found him sleeping. She then heard a noise from Heeseung's room so she went there and found Heeseung on the floor.

“Oh my god what happened?” She ran to Heeseung

“Your lip is bleeding” She made Heeseung stand up and looked at her husband

Mr. Lee was angry. He was fuming with anger

“You little bitch how dare you talk back to your father?"

“I love him” Heeseung again said straight looking at his father's eyes

“You what?” Mrs. Lee step back

“A boy?” Mrs. Lee asked

”Honey go back to our room” Mr. Lee ordered

“There is nothing wrong to like a boy” Mrs. Lee said looking at her husband without knowing the truth

“Sunoo” Heeseung spoke and Mrs. Lee was unable to react to Heeseung words

“What? Are you out of your mind? He is your-” Mrs. Lee couldn’t finish her sentence

“Step brother not my real brother”

“You piece of shit” Mr. Lee was about to hit Heeseung but Mrs. Lee stopped him.

“Heeseung listen to me even if he is your step brother but he is your brother. Don’t do something that will cause everyone trouble. You know Sunoo has gone through a lot. I don’t want to see him suffer again” Mrs. Lee said with a calm voice. She was trying her best.

“What if I did” Heeseung voice was ringing all over the room

“You know I won’t sit calmly. You didn’t see my worst side. I don’t want you to see. So rethink your actions ”

Heeseung stood silent there. They left Heeseung room

End of flashback

”So you are afraid of your father?” Jake asked in disbelief

“I thought you know me well” Heeseung smirked

“As expected from Lee Heeseung but don’t do something that will hurt my little Sunny” Jake stood up from his seat

“Little Sunny. Who are you to give him a nickname?”

Jake didn’t reply and went out of the class

“I won’t” Heeseung murmured
