Mayuka's Pov:

when I turned back, I found the boy who commented those last sentences was lying on the ground and groaning with agony caused by the punch landed straight on his cheek. I raised my head from that man and tilted my head in my left just to find a handsome hunk standing there with his palms rubbing on his shirt like removing the invisible dust on the shirt. Before I could process my mind more the other boy in the group came to attack on him shouting "how dare you to punch my friend?"

"How dare I!? let me show you the demo" saying this the handsome hunk who came like my knight in shining armour punched him in his stomach and joined his friend on the ground and started agonizing his own pain. He looked at the other man and he was looking scared after seeing his friends' condition and was about to escape but I noticed him trying to slip from the situation, so I dragged him towards my direction and made him stand in front of me and slapped straight on his cheek. He didn't expect this coming and was taken aback and straighten himself and looked at me with anger bubbling in his eyes. He raised his hand to slap me but before that hand reaches me a strong masculine hand stopped it in the mid-air and the masculine hand belongs to none other than my saviour right now. He slapped him harder than my slap and called someone meanwhile these three people who ragged me earlier with an audacity were now begging infront of him for mercy that is to not complaint the officials about this. But my saviour ignored all their pleadings and said "you should've thought about that before insulting someone. This 'Arjun Oberoi' can forgive anyone but not the one who insulted a girl." saying this he handed those three to the 'anti ragging committee' whose arrival I didn't notice until now.

I felt a strong connection with him the moment I looked at him. I felt a stong brotherly bond the moment I saw him. He started leaving the place and then I came out of my trance and thought, I haven't thanked him yet.

I too started running behind him and shouted "hello excuse me, annaya  can you please wait a moment."

(Annaya - Telugu word to address elder brother)

(So basically, our Mayuka is from Andhra Pradesh)

The moment I uttered those words he stopped at his place for which I'm very thankful because he's actually moving at faster pace actually. He looked at me in shock and some expression in his which I can't understand because it looks like some kind of happiness for which the reason I don't know.

I realized, I've called him as Annaya and this is Mumbai so obviously, he wouldn't have understood so that might be the reason he's looking at me in shock.

I reached him and before I could utter something or thank him, he asked "what did you call me? "

Since I realized earlier, he wouldn't have understood the endearment I used, I started explaining him "Annaya, actually I'm from Andhra Pradesh and in Telugu Annaya means elder brother. Thank you 'bhai ' for saving me earlier".

He is looking so happy and I'm confused thinking what might me the reason for his sudden happiness and I looked at him with confused expression, but before I ask anything he asked, "You called me bhai right, will you tie Rakhi for me on every Raksha Bandhan, actually I don't have any sister until now."

I looked at him with happiness beaming in my face and nodded my head vigorously and assured him saying "With pleasure, if you don't mind."

Actually, I really love brother and sister relationship, but I don't have one in my family, so I almost had a brother at every place I visited and stayed for long and they are all out of my actual family and my classmates and seniors in school. Even Mayank teased me recently saying 'haven't you got any brother yet, it's strange and difficult to believe.'
