CHAPTER - 13

ABHI'S POV:

Today is the weekend which I wished to not arrive soon because today my Shona is not coming to our mansion instead, she's going along with her brother to Oberoi Mansion. I'll miss her presence, her smile, her talks and her expressive eyes alot; to be precise I'll miss her wholly so damn much.

I texted her to atleast message me once after reach Oberoi Mansion and she replied with 'ok'. Here in our car I'm in the driver seat to drive and Avi, Sony are in backseat enjoying their private time by Sony keeping her head on Avi's shoulders and they both chitchatting and making my condition more miserable with their lovey-dovey gestures to each other which are making me miss my Shona.

I drove to mansion as soon as possible just because I can't see their romance anymore.

As soon as we reached the mansion, they both maintained some distance between them and Avi jumped into front seat from back seat to avoid any suspicions because if anyone from family may come out and see them and may confront them, so to avoid this drama he came into front seat.

As soon as we reached a guard came towards us for the car to park it and I handed him the keys after getting down.

When we entered inside, I found the whole family sitting in the living room and talking. Because it is a rule in our family that every family member should leave their work on weekend and have to spend time with family altogether.

I went near maa and took her blessings, and she engulfed me and kissed my forehead and took the blessing from all the elders. 

After touching the feet of all elders, I came back and settled between mom and dad, Sony beside Devika bua and Avi beside Aarav. 

Mom is looking towards the entrance like she's waiting for someone, and I looked at her and asked, "Are we expecting any guest's mom?"

She gave me a confused look and said, "No, I was just looking what is making Mayu to take this much time to come inside from the car."

I remembered I didn't informed mom that she's not coming so I cleared her that "No mom, Mayu didn't came with us. She went to Oberoi Mansion with Arjun."

Mom looked at me in confusion and asked, "Why didn't she come here and how are Oberoi's related to her?"

Before I could answer someone just venomed at my girl and that someone is none other than the witch Malavika bua saying that "How naive of you Bhabhi to ask how she's related to Oberoi's! OfCourse she might've wooed their son Arjun and now went to Oberoi Mansion to woo senior Oberoi's too. Girls like her can never change and what could we expect from middle class people like her, always finds a way too rich people." 

My palms curled into a fist to control the rage growing in my nerves after listening someone badmouthing my girl. After controlling my anger to a level I sternly said her in a no-nonsense tone that "BUA! It's enough, not everyone is cunning like you and your daughter. Some are like Mayuka too, pure souls. So, I repeat never badmouth about her. For your kind information Arjun is her brother and she went to Oberoi Mansion because they invited her and are eagerly waiting for their daughter's visit."

People like Malavika bua never change so now she's throwing another tantrum "See bhai and bhabhi how our Abhi is raising his voice against me, his elder." 

But this tantrum of Her's didn't show any effect on anyone and instead she got earful from her husband that "Stop it Malavika, you are the one who's outraging him and still Abhi answered you in a normal way. So, stop exaggerating things and let people remain in peace and enjoy the weekend."

Mom and dad hadn't reacted to her remark on me because they know who is wrong here and mom told "But I miss Mayuka, she became so close just with one meet only."
