CHAPTER-6

MAYUKA'S POV:

I am shocked to see the person in front of me. I didn't expect him to be here. How can it happen though. Oh wait is he the cousin whom she went to meet yesterday. Oh god! Now the guilt of slapping him is doubled. I shouldn't have slapped him without knowing the matter. What if he makes it a scene! What if he slaps me back now! What if he takes revenge! What if he tells his family and make them to hate me! With all these what if questions in my mind I didn't realize that everyone have gathered at the door by now and looking at me with concerned look.

Sony shaked her hands in front me making me to come out of my reverie of thoughts. Anupama aunty held my hand and took me inside and asking what happened continuously but my whole focus is on him and he is starting in to me too.

Aunty made me to sit on sofa and sat beside me and my other side was occupied by Sony. He is sitting opposite to me and without thinking about anything I started apologising him.  

"I am sorry, I didn't know that you are Sony's cousin. When I saw her you are scolding her and I thought you as some rude senior and slapped you. When we were walking back to hostel she told me that it is her mistake and I felt guilty to slap you without knowing the matter and thought of apologising you but didn't expect you to be her cousin. I am really sorry".

Listening to me everyone gasped, Sony and Anu aunty are squeezing my hand to offer support and Anu aunty gave a gentle smile.

He is about to say something but before he can say anything Malavika aunty shouted on me.

" Did you slapped Abhi? How dare you to slap him? Do you know who he is! The sole heir of Rathore empire. What is your status in front of him".

Before someone could say something Neha shouted on me "By chance is it any some cheap trick to go into his notice. Because you know middle class girls like you can do anything to trap rich boys like him. If you have any such thoughts drop it because he can never be yours and.. "

Listening to Malavika aunty and Neha my waterworks were vigorously started from my eyes because they are accusing my intentions and character and I am unable to take that but I can't do anything.

Neha was rudely cut in middle by Anu aunty " Neha behave yourself. What are you talking. It's not her mistake. In fact she has done a brave act. She didn't care about the opposite person and saved her friend. "  Anu aunty said by keeping her palm on my head and kissed my temple.

I was shocked by her reaction because I've slapped her son and she didn't react much instead she understood me and supported me. She is really a great person.

"By the way why you and your mother are over reacting Neha. It has to be Abhi who has to reply, because she's apologising to him and Abhi take her to garden and solve your issues, Sony you too go with them. No other person is to be involved in this". Anu aunty told sternly to Neha and the next part to Abhi and Sony and the later part to rest of the family members especially to Neha and Malavika aunty.

Abhi came towards me and gave his palm to hold but I'm afraid what other family members may think if I held his palm, they also may think about my character like Neha and Malavika aunty. So I didn't gave my palm instead turned towards Sony she assured me with her eyes and gave me her palm to hold and I held her's.

We three walked towards garden and I was not in a position to admire the beauty of this garden currently.

Abhi turned towards me after we settled there on a couch. "I am really sorry I slapped you but my intentions were not to get into your notice or to trap you. My economical status maybe different from your guys but trust me I'm not that type of girl". I told him genuinely with teary eyes.
