CHAPTER-15

Abhi's pov:

Yesterday night's celebration was a blast and my favorite part is of course the cake made by my girl. I want to know when my Shona gave a nickname to me and why she's not calling me with that name but i don't want to make her feel compelled so I thought to let it go and wait for the day she calls me 'Any' again. Today all the youngsters currently at our home are going for lunch and i thought to go to some cozy restaurant rather than a 5-star  hotel because I know my Shona don't like going to 5-star hotels.

I came downstairs and saw all my friends and family gathered at hall and waiting for me to come down. I went straight to my ma and took her blessings then papa, chachu, chachi, from my both bua's and fufa's. Everyone wished me again and ma took me to the mandir at our home and made me pray and light the lamp. After doing the prayer we came to the dining hall and my eyes are continuously looking for a certain someone from the moment I step out of my room and couldn't find her yet. We reached the dining table and now waiting for my Shona and Sony to come down.

Soon I heard some footsteps coming closer and I turned in the direction and saw the brown orbed person, the one who stole my heart with one glance. I saw her coming towards me and she settled beside me and I came out of my trance when she wished me again 'happy birthday Abhi' with her heartwarming smile which can make anyone's day better. I replied to her thank you with a smile and Sony wished me the same and I too mumbled her a quick thank you. Soon the breakfast was served and everyone started digging into their plates and the breakfast came to an end.

Everyone on the dining table were indulged in some or other conversation but everyone's concentration shifted to Ruhi when we listened to her whining on something. Chachi asked her "kya hua Ruhi? Why are you whining? "

"I have an assignment to complete which I have completely forgotten and now I got the remainder that today is the last day to submit. So, I can't go to the lunch party now" Ruhi explained while sulking.

Chachi facepalmed herself and said "ab iss ladki ka mein kya hi karun! " and started scolding the already sulking Ruhi.

Ruhi  looked at us for help but no one dared to stop chachi now but the kindhearted girl sitting beside me intervened and said "Aunty relax don't take stress orelse it may effect your health." and she turned towards Ruhi and said "Ruh, if you are very keen in going to lunch now you can go, I'll stay and do your assignment. Don't worry. "

The thing she said to Ruhi made me loose my smile and now it's my time to sulk, how could I enjoy if she won't come. I'm this excited for this birthday because this is my first birthday with her. Before I could intervene and say something chachi beat me in speed and said "No Mayu beta, why would you do that? You are going out with them and this girl will stay and do her assignment. She'll come to evening party only if she completes her assignment. "

"It's ok Mayu di, you go with them. I'll do assignment as soon as possible and enjoy with you people in evening party " Ruhi assured her.

Now my girl was convinced to come with us and if still won't be convinced I thought of cancelling the lunch plan because what is the use of going there when my girl won't be with me.

Neha also said that she won't be coming with us because she has a parlour appointment now because she wants to look the best but who can make her understand that no one can be more beautiful than my Shona. I'm relieved that she won't be coming with us now or else she'll be too clingy on to me which I hate the most. Aarav is also not coming because he went out of town last night for some urgent unexpected meeting, but he'll be present at the evening party.

So, at last me, Mayu, Sony, Avy, Siya, Rohit, Shanaya, Vikky and Varun were going. Soon we dispersed to our respective rooms to get ready. We decided to be at the hall by 11:30.
