Rip that Kid

-PROLOGUE-

For as long as Y/n could remember, Kaijus were the main topic at her house. Her dad, Dr. Onda, was the lead scientist in studying these creatures. So most of his day was spent at the lab. Her mom and older sister had their own interests, and although Y/n adored them, she understood they had different likes. So the first time she met Kenji, a kid her age who held the same love for Ultraman and baseball, she instantly liked him.

And it didn't take long for them to become best friends.

One night, just like any other Y/n was over at Kenji's, her family being busy with work couldn't take care of her that day. Y/n was happy, though. Emiko, Kenji's mom, was a big baseball fan, Y/n adored her.

''Da, da, da, da!'' sang Kenji as he ran past the living room table grabbing the baseball ball as he did, running back again grabbing the Ultraman figurine the second time.

''I am Ultraman!'' Kenji yelled before his dad picked him up. ''Ultraman, we must check the curry!'' as he took him to the kitchen.

His dad, sniffed the curry before happily sighing. ''Mina, status report.''

'Temperature is steady, but it needs a good stir, Professor Sato.' Mina announced

 Him and Kenji ended up agreeing it needed more time to be ready after tasting it.

''Hey, Ultraman!'' yelled Emiko from the couch. ''When you're finished saving your dad's curry, you might want to fly on over here and save your team. 

''They really need it.'' added Y/n as she sighed looking at the score.

''The tigers are losing.'' whispered Professor Sato. ''Probably should leave your mother and Y/n alone.''

Emiko looks at Y/n who nods as both get up growling acting as Kaijus.

''Not today, Gomora and Volemera!'' Kenji yelled

''Ultraman, use your force shield.'' advised Professor Sato as Emiko and Y/n kept growling at them.

''Too strong. Can't hold much longer.'' Kenji grunted as he faked losing from both Kaijus.

''Distract with Ultra Slash!'' Said Professor Sato as Emiko laughed.

''Get back monster!'' Kenji yelled throwing the pillow at them, Emiko avoided it easily, but it ended up hitting Y/n straight in the face. She growled as she threw herself at the floor holding her face, before writhing for a while and dying. Emiko shook her head while chuckling.

''Yes! You defeated one! But it's your color timer! You must stay focused or you will change back to human form.'' So Kenji posed concentrating, Emiko gasping scared, she carried Y/n with her to the couch and set her 'dead' body down as she hid. She chuckled silently how she kept acting.

''Kenji. Ultraman's most  important task is finding balance. Understand?'' Professor Sato advised.

''Hey, give Mama a bonk.'' Emiko said in a normal voice. Kenji ran up to the couch, where even Y/n had stopped acting, and touched foreheads with his mom.

-Swung on in a high fly, hit deep to center field.- the game announced making Kenji cheer.
