Anne's pov...!
"Whatcha doin'?" Billie said from my phone, she facetimed me. "Eating" I raised and show her my avocado toast "where are you?" I frowned, there was a lot of noise in the background and people passing behind her.
"I'm doing a photo shoot" she smiled and turned the camera around to showed me the place, there was a set full of people, big lights and a red backdrop.
"That's why you look so good" she laughed "Billie!" someone called.
"Oh, hi Anne!" Maggie appeared on the screen next to Billie smiling at me "Hi Maggie, how have you been?" I smiled, I haven't seen her since our lunch.
Billie handed the phone to her mom and disappeared from the screen.
"I've been fine, what about you honey? Billie told me you broke up with your boyfriend" it seemed that she was moving away from the big lights and it no longer looked so illuminated "oh yeah, I'm totally fine. He cheated on me, he wasn't worth it anyway" I said smiling.
A few days have passed since that and the truth is that it no longer affects me, I got over it very quickly.
Spending time with Billie might has helped.
"Oh well, in that case, I'm glad you broke up with him" she said and I laughed "do you want to see Billie? they are taking photos of her" I nod "sure" she turned the camera and I saw Billie wearing a red shirt with a black tie and a skirt of the same color, she was posing on the red backdrop that I saw minutes ago.
She looked insanely good.
"Well Maggie, I'd better go. Tell Billie I say bye" I smiled. Billie was busy and didn't have much to talk to Maggie about so it's better if I leave.
She turned the camera, we said goodbye and she ended the call. I finished my breakfast and decided to wash the dishes.
While drying my hands my phone started ringing again, I frowned and approached.
Oh, it's my mom.
My heart raced as I stared at the phone while it continued ringing, I thought about letting it ring but I ended answered it.
"Hello? Ann?"
Everything is fine with my mom, I love her but, since I distanced from my dad, we haven't talked much.
"Hi... everything good?" I said and I bit my nail "yes honey, I'm just calling to let you know that your sister is in town, she's going to be staying here for a few days. So you should come visit her" she said it in a tone making me understand that not going wasn't an option.
I threw my head back looking at the ceiling.
I don't wanna go.
"You still there?" she asked "yeah, yes I'm here. When did she arrived?" I snorted and looked at the floor "yesterday. And I'm making a dinner tonight so you better come" she said stanrly.
"Fine, I'll se you there" I resigned "good, come home at seven" I hummed and murmured an 'okay' "goodbye, I love you" she said "bye, me too" I said and hang up.

I sighed and knocked at the door after staring at it for like five minutes.
My nephew opened the door which relaxed me a little.
"Hey kiddo" I smiled "you're late" he smiled and I opened my arms, he rolled his eyes but ended giving me the hug.
