Hi... I'll be reflecting on Clara in this chapter because I'm super bummed about Finneas not being with Billie on tour

Clara's pov...!!
"Hey, girl!" Billie greeted me as she swung the door open, her warm smile instantly brightening my day.
"Hi..." my voice came out way more excited than I intended, but I couldn't help it. Billie just laughed, stepping forward to pull me into a tight hug.
"Who's at the door, babe?" I saw Ann walking over while I was still hugging Billie. "Oh, hey, you," she smiled, finishing tying her ponytail.
"Hi" I mumbled, my face still pressed into Billie's shoulder. She never let go first, and I loved that about her.
"You know you can let go of my girlfriend, right?" Ann teased, an eyebrow raised.
"Mhm"
After a moment, I finally released her, and we made our way to the couch, where Ann stretched out, her head resting in the lap of the most beautiful woman in the world.
"What have you guys been up to?" I started the conversation once we settled in, trying to get comfortable.
"I'm still finding boxes we haven't opened" Ann replied, her voice a little muffled as she shifted to get more comfortable.
"Yeah, I have no idea where she kept all her stuff in that tiny apartment" Billie laughed, shaking her head.
"At least I don't have 37 chairs" Ann shot back, crossing her arms playfully.
"Why would you have 37 chairs?" I teased, shifting my attention to Shark, who was making his way over to me, his tail wagging like crazy.
"I don't know, dude. I just love sitting" she shrugged, a grin spreading across her face. Ann and I exchanged a quick glance, and we both burst into laughter, probably because of the double meaning "anyway..." she said, shaking her head at us.
As I began to pet Shark's head, Billie started running her fingers through her girlfriend's hair, her touch gentle and affectionate "I've been playing the electric guitar" Billie said proudly, her eyes lighting up.
"Oh, that's so cool" I rested my arm on my knee and propped my head up with my hand, giving her my full attention, genuinely curious.
"Yeah, it's been fun, but, you know... it's also a little stressful" she sighed, a hint of worry creeping into her tone.
"Why?" I asked, wanting to know more.
"Because Finneas won't be on stage with me..." she continued, but my mind blanked for a second, the weight of her words hitting me hard.
"Wait, what?" I asked, my heart pounding.
"Oh yeah, Finneas won't be coming on tour with me" Billie smiled sadly.
I think I'm gonna faint.
"He what?" I asked again, my voice a little more frantic.
"Clean your ears, bitch" Ann muttered from her spot in Billie's lap.
"Shut up! Can't you see I'm suffering?" I tossed a pillow at her, and she squealed in surprise.
"You little bitch..." she said slowly, lifting her head from Billie's lap.
"Don't you-" I was cut off by a pillow hitting me square in the face, courtesy of Ann.
I jumped up, making Ann squeal even louder.
"Damn babe, when did you learn to hit whistle notes?" Billie teased as Ann ran off.
I huffed and collapsed back into the spot where the redhead had been just a few seconds before.
"No, but seriously, Finneas won't be with you?" I asked, glancing at Billie, my expression serious now.
She shook her head, turning to face me more directly on the couch, her eyes sincere.
"Why? That's so sad, bro"
"I know" she replied, her gaze drifting away for a moment, lost in thought "but he's working on his own album too, so yeah, he'll be doing his own shows"
"Wow"
"He'll try to come to some of them, though" she said, smiling softly and lightly tapping my leg with her finger.
"How do you feel about that? Isn't this like the first time you'll be performing without him?"
"I'm shitting my pants, dude..." she dragged out the last word, her voice going high-pitched as she threw her head back.
"I'll go find Matthew, he got lost" Ann said, re-entering the room, her eyes glued to her phone as she headed for the front door.
"Kay, take care!" Billie called out, and Ann blew her a kiss before slipping out and closing the door behind her.
"And yeah, it's sad, but it's exciting at the same time" Billie continued, bringing our conversation back around.
I nodded, understanding.
Just because I understood doesn't mean I'm okay with it, though.
"Fuck, dude. I feel like you just dumped a bucket of ice on me" I said, and Billie laughed loudly.
"I mean, shit, I've been watching you two perform together since you started making music, and now you're gonna be up there by yourself" I said, looking up at the ceiling, memories of them side by side on stage flashing through my mind "not that I'm not happy for you. I know you'll kill it, but still..."
"I know... bitch, you're gonna make me cry" she laughed, but it didn't reach her eyes.
I could tell this was weighing on her. It had to have been a tough decision for both of them.
Just then, the front door opened again, and three people walked in.
"I found them" Ann announced, shutting the door behind her.
