Anne's pov...!

We made a plan.

By we I mean Matthew, Clara, Valerie, Nicole, Liam and me.

Val and Clara are going with Nicole to file the report, while the rest of us are going to confront Sebas. It's mostly going to be me, but the others are coming along in case things get messy.

Nicole said that asshole's going to be home all day, so we're heading over now.

I got out of the car, slamming the door hard enough to make it shake. Matt shot me a look, clearly caught off guard.

"Whoa, calm your tits, girl" he said calmly, shutting the car door with a casual click.

"Shut up" I chuckled, though my anger was far from gone.

We made our way up to his apartment, and I jabbed the doorbell impatiently. When Sebastian finally opened it, he looked at me with that same arrogant smirk that he gave me the last time I came here. His eyes flicked to the guys behind me, and his smirk grew wider.

"What, you brought bodyguards?" he sneered, leaning against the doorframe like he didn't have a care in the world.

I stepped forward, my fists clenched so tight my knuckles were white "shut up, I'm here to talk to you"

"How dare you put your hands on her? What kind of lowlife does that?" my voice was shaking with rage, Sebastian's smirk vanished, replaced by a hard, defensive look, but I didn't stop.

"Do you feel powerful? Beating on someone who trusted you? Is that how you get your kicks now? Because it's pathetic"

Sebastian's jaw tightened, and his eyes blazed with a mix of anger and desperation "Ann, you don't get it. I was-"

I cut him off, my tone firm and unwavering "get it? I don't need to get anything from you. What I see is a pathetic excuse for a man who suddenly decide to be violent. You think you can just walk away from this, that you're untouchable?"

His face twisted with a mix of fury and regret "you don't know what's been going on. I wasn't myself-"

"Not my problem" I snapped, stepping closer "the only thing that matters right now is that Nicole is reporting you. And don't think for a second that just because I have my friends here" I gestured towards them "I'm hiding behind them. They're here to make sure you don't do anything stupid, like try to lay a hand on me too."

Sebastian's frustration boiled over as he slammed his fist against the doorframe and stepped closer to me. I didn't even flinch.

"Back away. She's not alone" Matt said in the most serious tone I'd ever heard from him, placing an arm around my shoulders. He was protective but also gave me space to handle this on my own.

"I don't care about whatever's going on in your life. I stopped caring the moment you cheated on me. Don't think that just because Nicole was the reason we broke up, I'm going to leave her alone" I said shaking my head.

"She's not alone, and neither am I. Now get out of my fucking way, I don't wanna hear from you again" with that, I turned on my heel, every ounce of anger released, Matt close behind as I walked away without looking back.

I saw Liam standing there, still in place, just before the elevator doors closed.

We waited in the car, talking about anything but what had just happened. The distraction really helped me calm down. Time flew by so fast that when my phone buzzed with a notification, I realized twenty minutes had passed and Liam still hadn't returned.
