Michelangelo watched his father crackle and burn. Saw his eyes pop and burst from the pure pressure of the heat they were under. He might throw up again- he rushed off to go shower! Finally clean of vomit. Clear water washing the waste off of his body. As his eyes closed and he sat in the vast white plastic of the tub, the only thing that flashed through his mind was his father's corpse.
Flesh and muscle sizzling and shriveling into black pieces of jerky stuck to bone. Fur shrinking into little black bits of nothingness. Engulfed and devoured completely by an almost unseen flame, tinted with blue. Blue like Michelangelo's blue eye blue like the blue blue sky where the blue water came down and the blue blue water came to him, raining down on him in the shower.
Clear as angel tears, washing away his sins.
Sudsy white clouds from the heavens tainted with filth, like a fallen lamb. As the dirty bubbles went down the drain until clean. Perfect. Until anxiety gripped him- his brothers were probably awake.. saw there was no breakfast, paired that with smoke and a disgusting smell from the dojo and uh... found the burning body of their crucified master and father. It was around six in the morning, and that's when training usually started anyways!
Gosh, they definitely saw... they must be screaming their heads off! But Mikey shrugged off the reason he didn't hear it. And decided to enjoy his shower as long as he possibly could! His foot grabbed the bath brush sitting next to him in the tub, and he got to scrubbing his shell. It felt like massaging his bones- in a good way! Probably the closest thing he god get to a back massage since he had a carapace and all...
It was all nice and tingly on his nerves in a pleasurable sense, he liked it. Turtle shells could feel touch- it just weren't as sensitive as the flesh. So the shell scrubber 2000 was just the best!
Mikey turned off the hot water and left the shower, drying off with a towel and putting his ninja gear and mask back on. And as Michelangelo stepped out of the bathroom, he simply left. Left the lair. He could hear voices from the dojo, since his reptilian auditory apparatus was very refined! He rushed away into some other part of the sewer, pipes stabbed into the stone walls. A large crack in the ceiling of the place looked like it would let in sunlight when it got later into the day. Mikey stepped closer, the rough bricks under his feet turned into an almost smooth, textured metal. He was surprised it wasn't rusty. Mikey felt bad for the rust- he felt sympathy for the rust. It means something once precious and preserved was abandoned by its creator, seen as having no use. Left to rot and weather in the harsh earth.
As he peered over the ledge, there was a large swirling vortex of effluvium wastewater. As he stared down into the whirling of green sewage that came from metal pipes in the hole- he felt a buzz run through his body. A tune played from his pocket as his phone rang.. he held the T-phone in his hands, he crushed it down in his claws, a burst of electricity completely exploding what was left of the device into the water below.
Michelangelo yelped, he was a bit surprised at the last part- that wasn't an expected finale!
He looked down at his left paw, a small glow illuminating the scars on his fingers before it depleted and stopped glowing.
"Weird.. hey maybe im a superhero now or something! That would be way cool!"
Mikey giggled and did a little jump, fist pumping the air. As soon as his feet touched the ground he screamed and wagged his arms side to side to catch his balance so he didn't fall!"Shell- I gotta be careful.. I didn't even realize how close I was to the edge! Silly me..."
Mikey tapped the side of his head near his lava lamp-like eyeball that had terrible broken kaleidoscope vision, and the iris and pupil parts bounced around in his sclera like a googly eye.
"Maybe it's account of this guy! I should get some glasses- or maybe that really wouldn't help..."
Michelangelo shrugged and walked away from the place of the sewer, sneaking off to a more familiar place."I got rid of two bad guys all by myself- I really am a super hero! But a superhero has to have a cool name- don't they..?"
Michelangelo mumbled to themselves as he walked along.
"Turflytle! No- already tried that one..
The Turtle Titan! No... that one doesn't really fit..."
Michelangelo thought, he couldn't fully remember how he killed the Shredder unlike how he remembered killing his father... he shoved him underwater and a big old pain went through him before he was being carried by his big muscular gator pal! Hmm..Donnie said it looked like burn marks, despite Mikey explicitly remembering shoving
Shred-head underwater! Mikey tried to use what little of his brains were left.. he had just accidentally exploded his phone with electricity- he also had shattered the lights in the bathroom by screaming in horror... seemed pretty electric to him! Maybe he had electrified Shredder?"Radtastical! What-? I thought I lost all my electro powers! But turns out im still ultra charged to the max! I guess i'm just the ultimate battery- no wonder people say im a bundle of energy!"
Mikey smiled, he was feeling pretty manic at the moment. And he didn't wanna go home- his brothers wouldn't understand! They hadn't seen through the shroud of lies their father was built out of!He wasn't gonna let Donnie lock him up in a straight-jacket and be called a murderer! He was a hero- a super one!
"I got it! I'll be Shell Shock! Ahaha! Im such a smartie turtle.."•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.••..•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.••
As Michelangelo's brothers searched for him, uncertainty filled their hearts as the last place the tracker on his phone picked up was a large drop off in the sewer...
Hell he went so crazy it seemed possible.
Michelangelo could be dead for all they knew.
