As Mikey stood there looking like an idiot while he questioned everything, Renet decided to chip in!

"Well, we should get you home! Your brothers are probably worried sick out of their shells for you! I know I would be if i was shelled up!"
Renet piped in that over enthusiastic tone she always seemed to have infiltrate into her voice, like the element of joy was constantly strangling the words out her voice-box. Mikey quickly shook his head no, making Renet fall deeper into confusion.

Disgust rose in Michelangelo's throat- feeling like he was gonna hurl up a whole prickly pear he hadn't plucked nor chewed before inhaling it like a serpent.

"I can't go back home right now, Everyone is like- super duper against me at the moment.."
Michelangelo struggled in a deep breath before continuing his sentence.
"There's no peace at all man- I dunno if going back home would be good for me or anyone.."
He didn't explain why the only abundance in his home was an ocean of fear and general negativity- and he wasn't going to.

"What happened..?"
As Renet asked that question, Michelangelo decided to let out a dramatic sigh, looking all sad and teary eyed. Of course he wasn't actually sad- he had nothing to be sad about.
"I kinda don't wanna talk about it dude..."

Renet gave a small nod, and had to think for a moment.
"I guess Could take you back with me- but only temporarily! And it would have to be on the total opposite of the uppity-high."
"On the down-low?"
The timestress nodded in confirmation at Michelangelo's correction- and finally they got the hell out of the void.

Renet led Michelangelo down a dark hallway, It was nice to be in a castle and not in a blank space that went on infinitely. Mikey could actually feel the ground beneath his feet- he just about stumbled with every step. It was like trying to learn how to walk again, the way of locomotion in his previous location was much too floaty to simulate the reality of walking.

No sounds incoherently blended together, there was a method in silence and loquacity. It made Michelangelo feel blanketed by a sense of peace, that the true world was not so overwhelming.

Renet opened a door and led her turtle friend inside.
"This is my dorm!"
The room had shelves filled with trinkets from Mikey assumed were past adventures throughout time. A few holograms of pictures were beamed upon the walls, oh whom Michelangelo could assume were Renet's friends and family.

There was a single upholstered bed pushed up against the wall, but it seemed a little all in one- there were cubbies and drawers built into the bottom bed frame for storage. The headboards had lights attached, and there was a cushy couch where the footboard would otherwise be. The entire bed looked big enough for one person, and one person only. There was a desk at the opposite end of the room from the bed, with a few miscellaneous items and tools.

"Woahh! This place looks mondo comfy, and you got it all to yourself? Comfy!"
Mikey checked the room out, sitting down on the bed, slightly bouncing himself up and down.
Renet laughed a bit and nodded.
"Yeah! It's a little vintage cause i prefer the older styles, but i make it work!"

Michelangelo's eyes widened, his expression was comparable to that of a seal.
"You're telling me all this stuff is old school? Girl, how far in the future are we??"
Renet looked amused by her friend's expression, and put her hands on her hips with a simple shrug.

"Well I can't tell you too much- but anyway my lesson with Lord Simultaneous is going to begin soon, so Ive gotta ricochet! Just uh- promise not to touch anything that looks important or explore outside my room, I don't wanna get into more trouble than I usually do!"
The timestress opened the door and exited half way, giving a little wave to Michelangelo before she left.
"Make yourself at home!"

Mikey nodded and waved back, And then she was gone.

He was totally gonna explore.

Michelangelo peeked behind the door inside the room that didn't lead outside. It was a bathroom, a wall separated the toilet and shower . Mikey pulled back the curtain that covered the shower, bottles of soap littered the place. He picked one up.
"Birthday blast ceder body wash.. weird scent!"
He spurted the soap from the bottle into his paw, and gulped it down- it made him shiver.

Soap didn't taste that great, how could he forget? It was bath-bombs that felt yummy in his tummy! Mikey left the bathroom and Renet's dorm room in general against the time witch's advice- there was no way he could stand to sit in a single room all day! Spending 15 years in the same sewer was bad enough.

He trekked down the hall, making sure to avoid any rooms with too much noise- in fear he would be caught in his adventure.

Mikey saw the oddest room- it looked like the opening to a dungeon. He would pick it open with his nunchucks- but they weren't on him. As he had lost an odd amount of his gear when accidentally sending himself into the void... he would just look for something to pick the lock of this rusty door open with! The curiosity was killing him, meow!

Mikey wandered around, the whole castle was weird. It wasn't all medieval like he imagined castles to be- it seemed more like a museum, some different time periods making way into the design now and then.

He wandered into a room, and figured out through a huge glass window, that he was on the very tip top floor. The glass window depicted some sort of angel, reaching out its hands. Michelangelo felt a sense of dread peering at the angel who appeared to want to embrace him, he didn't know why he felt such a way looking at a window though- it was odd.
But beneath the sense of dread, there was an overwhelming instinctual feeling. The feeling to overcome. Defeat. Destroy. Protect?

He didn't like this room.

It looked like it was supposed to be calming, but it gave Michelangelo the opposite effect.

He backed out of it, and finally found somewhere useful.

He walked through the room, feeling like his spirit was being judged as empty suits of armor faced his direction. Mikey walked up to one of the suits of armor and decided he needed to steal, he was in need of materials! And nobody was using these...

It was a simple train of thought, the obvious conclusion to come to. Mikey untied the uwa-obi from the suit and tied it around his own waist, the fabric was thick and off-white in color. It would have to do in replacement for his belt.
Then, he found himself a kusarigama, and was on his way!

It was like shopping- without having to pay money! He wished he could have found a pair of nunchucks- but even if he did, he doubted that they would be anything like the ones he had before, since his had the kusarigama blade attached! He would just have to settle for the chained blade by itself...

Time to open the door!
