i saw that the driver has texted me, "my ride is here see you guys bye"i said getting up, "i will walk you out"Seungkwan said, "no need to thanks though"i said, i walked to the front door and opened it but someone grabbed my wrist

"tell me your answer soon"Seungkwan spoke, i nodded, he let go of my hand, i got in the car and he drove off, did they have to be friends? I arrived home and greeted dad, "young lady never hang out with those men alone"he said

he said i should distance myself from both of them since they were friends, but Chan is literally my best friend at this point, i stared at the ceiling not knowing what to do, my phone buzzed

Chan:asleep yet?

Haneul:nope

Chan:we're still drinking haha

Haneul:it's 3 am

Chan:wish you were here tho

My heart aches whenever he talks about her, he didn't have to tell me, what have i gotten myself into. I got under the covers getting ready to sleep i turned off the lights and my phone illuminated the room

Chan:Mingyu's birthday is this weekend are you coming?

Chan:it'll be at my place

Haneul:sure

Haneul:can you ask him what he wants for a gift?

What's gotta into him, i was clearly joking, Mingyu is literally my friend, i turned off my phone and fell asleep.

The weekend came and i got ready for the party,
After completely being ready i asked the driver to take me. I arrived and saw unfamiliar cars there, I knocked on the door and Mingyu opened, i smiled and greeted him

"happy birthday"i handed him his gift, "thank you"he patted my head, i got in and there was unfamiliar faces, and Dana? "Oh my god Haneul it's been so long"she hugged me, "yeah how have you been?"i asked pulling away from the hug

"good"she smiled, "Haneul come meet our friends"Mingyu called, i walked to him and I'm bad with new people, "Haneul this is Seungcheol Jihoon and Seokmin"Mingyu introduced them, "nice to meet you I'm Haneul"i smiled.

The whole night was chill and fun, i did see Chan and Seungkwan but i ignored them, Saera did come later, and she hasn't left Chan's side since, i excused myself and went to the bathroom upstairs

after getting out of the bathroom i was literally dragged to a random room, the door closed and i saw it was Chan, "have you been avoiding me?"he spoke, shit he noticed, "no"i lied, "did i do something? What's wrong?"he asked innocently,

"nothing is wrong Chan can we go now i don't want someone to get the wrong idea"i said, i walked to the door but he stopped me, "what wrong idea? Did someone say something to you?"he questioned i was getting annoyed at these questions

how do i tell that i like him but i dont want to do anything about it because he's getting married to Saera, "no! Stop asking these questions nothing happened and nothing will happen"i said frustrated,

"is this about Saera?"he asked, yes, "no"i looked down, he lifted my head by my chin and looked me in the eyes, "you know i don't like her this is all just a show"he spoke and caress my cheek, is he giving me hope? I don't want it! He's engaged

he pinned me on the wall but i pushed him away, "Chan! I just told you i don't want to be a mistress"a tear fell, "Saera likes you! She has the upper hand she is your wife"i looked him, he looked angry

i wanted to go home, i left the room and went downstairs but met Seungkwan half way, "Haneul"he said, i need to stop seeing both of them, "my answer is no Seungkwan im sorry"i said and continued going down the stairs

i looked for Mingyu to tell that i was leaving, i saw him in the kitchen, "Mingyu"i called he looked at me smiling, but he sensed something is wrong, his smile dropped, "I'm sorry i have to go i don't feel well"i lied, I'm really sorry

"yeah sure get some rest"he said, i nodded smiling, i left the kitchen and i was face to face with Saera, "sorry"i stepped to the right, "it's okay have you seen Chan?"she asked, I shook my head, "okay thank you"she smiled, and this time I really left, I didn't even call the driver I just walked around.
