3 months have passed and i have been distancing myself from my parents, i live in my hideout now, i just got back from shopping, i layed down, my phone buzzed,
Lily: you're coming to tonight's party right?
Lily:i really need you there
Lily:pretty please?
Haneul:yeah I'll be there
Lily:great!
Lily has a party since she launched her own company, since I was her only friend in have to go, it's 6:10 the party starts at 7:30 i should get ready
I finally got to wear the clothes that I like, it feels so good, i finished up my makeup and called a cab. I arrived a bit early but it's fine I just sat down looking through my phone.
After an hour Lily has officially launched the company and now we're chatting and drinking. I excused myself to the bathroom, I entered a stall
"did you see Jo Haneul tonight? It's her fist appearance since the rumors"a girl said, the rumor being about how my parents not really my parents
I seriously don't know how it got out i never told anyone, "poor her she has no one"they said and left, ouch, that hurts, i got out of the stall and washed my hands
"don't mind what they said they just like to talk"i saw a girl's reflection on the mirror, she washed her hands, "let them talk i don't care"i said drying my hands, she smiled
"Lim Dana"she offered her hand, i took it shaking it softly, "Jo Haneul"i smiled, "nice meeting you Haneul"she spoke before leaving, i left the bathroom seconds after.
I was standing away from people drinking my champagne, "Haneul?"i heard a familiar voice, i turned to my right and it was Seungkwan, "oh my god"I spoke, he smiled and opened his arms
without hesitation i dived into them, "I've missed you so much"i said, "me too"he caressed my back, i pulled away, "what are you doing here? I thought you were in China"i said
"i came back 2 weeks ago and Lily invited me"he said, we looked at each other, "you look good"i said, he got shy, "you look beautiful"he said, "thanks"i smiled
my heart started beating fast, i never stopped liking him, he was my first real relationship, and i loved him, "so are you married now?"he asked pulling me out of my thoughts
i shook my head, "we called it off"i said, "oh why?"he grabbed a glass, "both of us agreed to since we both were forced"i said, "are you dating anyone?"i asked
"i am seeing someone if that counts we're not official yet"he said, and my heart shattered, i fake smiled and drank up my glass, "excuse me"i said as i started walking to the bathroom
but i bumped into someone since i couldn't see through my tears, "I'm sorry are you okay?"they asked, i let my tears falland my vision cleared, it was Chan, "Haneul hi"he said as he handed me my bag
he noticed that i was crying, "woah did i hurt you? I'm really sorry i wasn't looking"he said walking closer to me, i wiped my tears, "I'm okay, excuse me"
i ran to the bathroom and checked if no one was there, i entered a stall and cried my eyes out, why did i think he would be single and waiting for me
he has way better personality than me of course he'd see someone other than me, i feel so pathetic for always crying, for always having high hopes, i truly hate how lonely i am.
I left the party early and just slept.
