Y/n

I waited for the blue-eyed man on the roof. He was the better shooter, and killing Fury once and for all was a one-man job. But should someone decide to chase him down, he'd run to me, where I could help him.

I saw him coming. He ran at me with a blond-haired man on his tail. The man threw his shield at us, but the blue-eyed man caught it. I took my fighting stance.

The blond man looked confused. The blue-eyed man threw it back at him, hitting him in the stomach and sending him sliding backwards. The blue-eyed man grabbed my arm and jumped off the roof.

"I could've killed him!" I yelled once we landed.

"That wasn't the mission."

"The mission was to kill Fury, and anyone who stood in our way."

"He wasn't in our way. I killed Fury. He's dead."

"And this guy will just be one more problem we'll have to deal with later."

"Then we'll deal with him when he's our mission. For now, the mission's complete, and he didn't put either of us in danger. Now let's go."

I scoffed, but reluctantly followed my partener, still feeling like I was right. If there was one thing I'd learned from being a soldier, it was that you had to kill your enemies. All of them. Finish them off until there's none left. Otherwise, they will always come back to bite you in the ass.
