Y/n

2018–2023

I was with Tony when it started happening. Afterwards, we had to fight Thanos. Tony, the spider kid, Dr Strange and I had met up with Quill and his gang of buddies. We were in outer space, which was crazy and would have been more exciting if a purple man hadn't been trying to destroy half the universe.

But then one by one, everyone started disappearing. And the last thing I saw was Tony looking confused, and Peter looking scared, before I disappeared too.

I entered this weird, fizzly universe. I looked around, just seeing moving dust. It swirled all around me, before it all disappeared again. And I was back. Only Tony wasn't there.

"We gotta go," Dr Strange said. "It's been five years, and they need help." He started making a portal to... wherever.

"Hold on," I said. "It's been five years? What? Where's Tony?"

Dr Strange sighed. "Look, Thanos snapped, meaning half the universe disappeared. To us, it was five seconds. To everyone else, it was five years. Tony's been living on Earth with his family for the past five years, but he and the others figured out a way to bring us back. Now we gotta find Thanos and kill him."

"In five years they never managed to kill him?" Quill asked. "Seriously?"

"Not exactly," Strange told us. "They did kill him. Thor cut his head off. But he destroyed the infinity stones, which was the only way to get us back. So they built a sort of time machine and found them from different time periods. But then Thanos from the past found them and is now back and trying to do what his future self already did."

"What?" the spider kid asked.

Strange shook his head. "Look, I get that it's confusing, but we need to go. Now. They need help."

"Okay," I nodded. "Make your magic portal then."

Strange nodded and continued. "I'm gonna grab the others. Just wait here." A few minutes later, Strange came back and made a new portal. "All the others who were snapped away are meeting us there."

So we all stepped through. It was a giant battlefield. I looked around and saw tons of Strange's portals, being used by a lot of others.

I saw a bird-man fly over my head, and watched him as he landed next to Steve.

Steve.

I sprinted forward and ran right at my oldest and closest friend. "Steve!" I yelled.

He turned around and his face broke into an even wider grin when he saw me. He'd grown a beard! "Y/n!"

I ran into his arms and he held me tight. When we pulled away, someone cleared their throat. I turned and saw Barnes. His hair and beard was even longer. "Oh, hi," I said awkwardly. "Did you... get snapped away, too?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

"Y/n," someone else said behind me.

I turned around and saw Tony. I ran at him, too. It hurt a bit when I hit him, considering he was in his Iron Man suit, but I didn't care. "How've you been?" I asked once we pulled away.

"Alright. I guess I might've somewhat missed having you around."

I laughed. "I would say the same, but I'm still pretty sure I just saw you ten minutes ago."

"Oh, kid," Tony said, shaking his head. "It's been a lot longer for us."

"I know. Five years, I heard."
