"This sucks! I don't think I'll be able to talk for the rest of the night!"
Sure the football game had been a major success, but my throat hurt a lot from yelling all night. From the sound of it, mine wasn't the only one in pain.

"Lets not talk until we get there and maybe we will start to feel better," Sandra suggested.
"Okay, starting now."

That idea was a fail. When we're all together, we couldn't keep quiet for more than 30 seconds, if that.

"Jenna, we have arrived," Celesis sang, turning the car into my long driveway.

"How am I supposed to change in this tight little space, Rose motioned around the car. "Can I come in please!"

"Sorry but no!" I slammed the door and sprinted towards my house. All I wanted to do was change and leave, but my parents had a different idea. They wanted to know every single detail about the game.

"We won! It was a lot of fun. Practice really does make perfect." I slowly began creeping up the stairs, hopefully letting them know that was the end of the conversation.

"We'll be at the next game for sure, glad everything went well."

"My poor baby." My mom pouted her small bottom lip. "It's only 9 and you look like you haven't slept in days."

Talk about something I didn't want to hear, especially before going to a party.

My dad agreed with her, "Get some sleep, we're about to do the same."

I waved at them then headed towards my room once again,"Night!"

It took me about a half an hour to get ready. I couldn't resists the urge to shower, but I made it a quick one. 10 minutes later I was slipping into the black dress and my tall red wedges, tripping to get my balance. I applied my makeup and black lipstick, wondering if I even put the stuff on right.

I may have overdone the makeup, but I wanted to do anything to make my face look alive. Judging by my appearance, this wasn't me at all. I was used to wearing a simple black outfit, not struggling to find my balance. Looking at me you might be scared to to walk up to me, expecting me to snap.

I tried to be as quiet as possible and not wake up my sleeping parents. Come one, come on, come one! Ouch! My hair felt like it was taking forever to curl as I attempted to do it in double speed. With this being my first time curling my hair, I was left with a few battle scars. But soon after, I was done.

I Grabbed my phone and slowly tiptoed down stairs, closing the door behind me. Once I was outside, I ran towards the two parked cars.

I got inside the car that was closest to me and ended up riding with the same girls as before.
"I hate you"

" Not fair"

"We didn't shower, curl our hair, or anything." Everyone felt the need to comment on my appearance.

I laughed, shaking my head. "You guys look great. Can we please go now?"

Luke lives about 15 minutes from me and his house was beautiful! I don't really know what I was expecting, but this definitely wasn't it. The outside was a modern wood house. It stretched all the way from one side of the green lawn, to the other. A black gate was in the front. You would normally need a passcode to get in, but
Since this was an open house party, the gate was already wide open.

"What do his parents do for a living?" Mallory asked, looking at the tall house.

"I have no idea, but this amazing."

The girls around us were all dressed in tight clothing and high heels, making their way towards his house. I felt a sharp pang in my stomach. I wonder which one of the girls he's going to be with. That fact that I even cared made me a little worried.
