Chapter 4. Best sleep ever

Caleb POV
We came back to Andrews house I was starting to get irritated with him and his wife because they still haven't returned the money they owed me. I walked upstairs to the bedroom they gave me to sleep in while I was here.

I opened the door to my room walking inside exhaustedly. I took off my shoes and coat so I could lay in the bed to take a nap. I heard a soft whimper coming from my bed causing me to look towards my bed.

I could tell someone was laying on my bed covered in the thick blanket sleeping. I walked over to my bed as I heard the soft whimpers coming from Andrew's and Elizabeth's daughter.

She whimpered softly in her sleep snuggled up in my blanket as if this was her bed. She looked as if she was scared of something as she slept. I knew she was tired because of the dark circles under her eyes.

I laid in the bed beside her keeping my distance so I wouldn't touch her and most importantly so she wouldn't touch me. I didn't like being touched by anyone.

I closed my eyes getting ready to fall asleep when suddenly I felt her snuggling her face into my neck practically laying on top of me. She tangled her feet with mine while half her body was on top of mine.

I closed my eyes frustratedly trying to control myself as she whimpered softly in my neck sleepily. I sighed softly too tired to even yell at her at the moment for fucking touching me.

I know she was sleeping and not really paying attention to what she was doing so it wasn't her fault for laying all up on me and falling asleep in my bed. Which I didn't understand how she got in my bed in the first place.

I kept my eyes shut forcing myself to sleep despite how close she was to me. I was too lazy to take her back to her room and I didn't want to wake her knowing she needed to sleep.

Aaron POV
I forgot my charger in Caleb's room before we left this morning. I walked down the hall to his room knocking on his bedroom door so I could get my charger quickly to charge my phone.

I knocked on his door once more but got no response back. I opened the door slowly knowing he was asleep already. I made my way over to the small table by his bed to get my charger.

I heard a soft whimper come from his bed, I knew it wasn't him who made that sound because it sounded feminine. I looked over onto his bed noticing Aria sleeping snuggled up in his arms.

My eyes widened as I stared at them sleeping together. Caleb hated people touching him so seeing this girl we barely knew cuddled up with him was very surprising.

I knew he liked her he just didn't want to admit it. I walked out of his bedroom quietly shutting the door leaving them two to sleep peacefully. I was gonna have to tell Zane about this.

                        Later on that night...

Caleb POV
I was awoken by the sound of soft cries coming from someone next to me. I opened my eyes slowly sitting up on my bed as I heard soft light whimpers coming from the small girl sleeping beside me.

Her whimpers and cries slowly began to grow louder and more intense the longer she slept. She was clearly having a nightmare but it's as if she was struggling to wake up from it, like she was trapped. 

She began to mutter things under her breath as she cried even more in her sleep. She grasped my shirt tightly sobbing loudly in her sleep before a loud scream erupted from her.

I shook her tapping her cheek to wake her up. She opened her eyes immediately gasping for air as if someone was chocking her in her sleep. She sobbed crawling into my lap without a second thought.
